TOZO Health lists the Watch1 as a compatible device, but the available official information does not confirm how to start GPS route recording on this specific watch—or whether it records routes using the phone or built-in GPS. Check the Watch 1 manual before following GPS instructions for another TOZO model. TOZO’s quick-guide index and support page are the official places to look for model-specific directions.
What is confirmed about GPS on the TOZO Watch 1?
The TOZO Health App Store listing names Watch1 among its compatible devices. It describes exercise-data synchronization and mentions route preview in the app’s version history. That confirms the app has route-related functionality, but it does not establish that the Watch 1 can record a GPS route, how recording is started, or where a saved route appears.

The available official sources also do not say whether the Watch 1 has built-in GPS or relies on a connected phone. Do not assume either setup, or that a route will be saved, until the Watch 1 manual or TOZO support confirms it.

How to find the correct Watch 1 instructions
- Confirm the companion app. Use the app identified by the QR code on your Watch 1 or in its current manual. TOZO has multiple watch apps; TOZO Health is listed as compatible with Watch1, but check your device’s documentation before pairing.
- Look up the Watch 1 manual. Open TOZO’s quick-guide page and find the guide for your exact model. Check its exercise or outdoor-workout instructions for GPS, route recording, and route-history details.
- Ask TOZO if the manual is unclear. Use the official support page to confirm whether the Watch 1 supports route recording and, if it does, whether GPS must be enabled on the watch, the phone, or both.
Checks to make if a documented route does not appear
The following are general checks—not verified Watch 1 GPS setup steps. Confirm them against the Watch 1 manual or TOZO support before changing settings:

- Phone location access: Check whether the app has the location permission required by the manual for route recording. Permission names and settings vary by phone and operating system.
- Connection: Confirm the watch and phone are connected as the manual directs, then check whether exercise data synchronizes to the app.
- Workout and route history: Follow the model-specific directions for starting an outdoor workout and viewing its record. A route preview feature in the app listing does not, by itself, confirm that a Watch 1 workout will create a map.
A review dated October 17, 2023, on the TOZO Health listing reports that GPS did not seem to work and no routes were saved. That is one user’s report from that date, not proof of a current, general Watch 1 fault.
