To preorder a limited-edition G-SHOCK from an official retailer, start on the Casio or G-SHOCK website for your own country, find the release page for your exact model number, and work out which sale method applies. Official releases use one of three approaches: a reservation window, a lottery or application, or a plain online or store launch. “Preorder” does not reliably mean first-come, first-served. In the official examples reviewed for this guide, the order was often decided by a draw, and the terms differed from one country to the next.
Confirm your country and exact model before you search
Limited G-SHOCKs are released country by country, and the rules attached to a release belong to that country’s sale. A Singapore raffle, for example, was open only to Singapore residents. Settle two things first: where you will buy, and the full model number, including the suffix that identifies the colourway. A release page for a similar-looking model with a different suffix will not help you.
Step-by-step: preorder through the official channel
- Find the official regional site. Use Casio’s or G-SHOCK’s site for your country. The examples in this guide come from Casio Japan, Casio Singapore and Casio Malaysia. Do not treat one country’s sale terms as applying elsewhere.
- Locate the release page. Look for the new-release schedule or the limited-edition page for the collaboration or model you want. Confirm the model number on the page matches the watch you intend to buy.
- Identify the sale method. Decide whether the page describes a reservation window, a lottery or application, an ordinary online launch, or a store-only release. The method determines how you will be selected, so read the full wording rather than the headline.
- Record the dates and time zone. Note the reservation start, the entry deadline and the release date. Casio Japan’s pages state times in Japan Standard Time; confirm the time zone printed on any page you use, because a deadline in another zone can close earlier than you expect.
- Use the official purchase link or store locator. Where the page links to an online store or lists stores, use those links rather than searching for a seller by name. Confirm the seller is named on the official page before you enter any details.
- Check the account and purchase terms. Confirm whether a CASIO ID is required, who may enter, the quantity limit, whether successful applicants must complete a purchase by a deadline, and the return and exchange rules. Do this before you submit an application or pay.
- Recheck the page immediately before you buy. Stock wording changes quickly. The Singapore page examined here moved from a sale that was already sold online to a limited-store-stock notice, so the status you read earlier may no longer hold.
What “preorder” can mean for a limited G-SHOCK
Three mechanisms appear in the official material, and each one changes what you need to do.
- Reservation window. Casio Japan’s Coca-Cola collaboration page listed a reservation start and a separate release date, and said the online store planned lottery sales. A reservation therefore did not guarantee a watch.
- Raffle or application. Casio Singapore’s Joshua Vides page described a raffle. Its terms state: “This is not a raffle for a free product. Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to purchase the item at the stated retail price.” The page attributes this to the official collaboration sale terms and names no individual speaker.
- Stock launch. Some releases open online at a stated time, and others are sold through physical stores. Casio Malaysia’s schedules list online launch times for selected models and point to G-SHOCK stores and authorized retailer stores for availability.
What the official examples show
The examples below are from 2026 and earlier. As of 9 October 2026 none of them is a current offer, and the sources do not show whether any of these models is still available. Use them to understand the structure of a release, then check the live page for your own model.

Japan: Coca-Cola collaboration with a reservation window and lottery
Casio Japan’s official page for the GA-2100CC-3AJR lists a reservation start on May 1, 2026 and a release on May 15, 2026. The price is ¥27,500 including tax. The page says the CASIO online store planned lottery sales, so a reservation was a route to a draw rather than a guaranteed purchase.
Singapore: Joshua Vides raffle and limited store stock
Casio Singapore’s Joshua Vides page, last updated May 1, 2026, covers the DW-5600JV-7 and DW-6900JV-1. Its terms state four conditions that shaped the sale:

- A valid CASIO ID was required to purchase.
- Selected applicants received the opportunity to buy at the stated retail price.
- Exchanges and returns were not permitted for the limited-edition watches sold.
The page also reported that online sales were sold out and that limited store stock was available from May 1 while supplies lasted. These are terms for that release only and are not a Casio-wide policy.
Malaysia: authorized retailers and a mid-May release
Casio Malaysia’s May 2026 schedule identifies the limited-edition GW-BX5600CBG-2 and states it would be available at G-SHOCK and authorized retailer stores from mid-May 2026. Its September 2026 schedule gives online launch times for selected models and indicates store availability. That schedule is now past, so use it only as a model for how Malaysian releases are announced.

Japan: UNDEFEATED collaboration with a named retail partner
For the UNDEFEATED collaboration, Casio Japan lists a reservation at the CASIO online store and G-SHOCK Store beginning May 16, 2026, with release on May 23, 2026. UNDEFEATED stores in Shibuya and Osaka and its official online store held an earlier sale from May 10, 2026. The page directs questions about UNDEFEATED sales to that retailer, not to Casio.

Checking that a seller is official
Whether a seller counts as official depends on what the local Casio source says. Casio Japan names its own online store and G-SHOCK Store, and for the UNDEFEATED collaboration it names UNDEFEATED’s stores and online store. Casio Malaysia refers to authorized retailer stores for certain releases. Treat a seller as official only when the country’s Casio page names or links it for that release. Resellers that are not named on the page are outside the official route, whatever their listing says.

Terms to read before you enter or pay
The Singapore terms show the conditions most likely to affect a buyer. Before you submit an application or complete a payment, check:
- Whether you are eligible under the country restriction.
- Whether a CASIO ID must be created or linked in advance.
- The purchase deadline if you are selected.
- Whether the watch can be exchanged or returned. For the Singapore limited edition, it could not be.
If a page shows that online sales are sold out, look for a store locator or a store-stock notice on the same page. In the Singapore example, limited stock was offered in stores while supplies lasted, so an online sell-out did not always end the release.

What the sources do not establish
The official pages reviewed describe product details, dates and sale terms. They do not provide any statistic on how often limited G-SHOCKs sell out, how long they take to sell out, or the chance of being selected in a draw. They also do not provide a complete directory of authorized retailers, and they do not confirm that every authorized retailer accepts preorders. Where a release page does not state a term, assume it is unknown rather than standard, and ask the official Casio contact for that country before paying.
Because every example here predates 9 October 2026, read the live official page for your model. The release dates, eligibility and stock status shown above are the ones printed on those pages at the time they were updated, and they will not reflect a new release.
