To turn off the button beep on a Casio watch, use the procedure for its module number: some models toggle the tone by holding a button, while others require changing a setting in Timekeeping Mode. Check the number on the case back or in the watch’s documentation, then open the matching Casio manual. In the manuals below, KEY or KEY♪ means the button tone is on; MUTE means it is off.
Find your Casio module number first
There is no single button sequence for every Casio watch. The module number identifies which instructions apply; the model name alone may not be enough. Look for the number on the case back or in the watch’s documentation, then find that number in Casio’s official manual search. The examples here cover six modules, not every Casio watch.
Turn off the button beep on these modules

What KEY, KEY♪, and MUTE mean
On the cited manuals, KEY or KEY♪ indicates that the button-operation tone is enabled. MUTE indicates that it is disabled. After changing the setting, check the display or press a button to confirm the tone has stopped; if your watch’s labels or controls differ, return to its module-specific manual rather than trying a sequence from another model.
Button beeps are not the same as alarms
Muting the sound made by button presses does not necessarily silence other watch sounds. The 3136 and 3202 manuals explicitly say that their listed alarm functions continue when the button tone is off. The 3202 manual also names its countdown timer alarm. For the other modules listed above, the cited instructions do not establish whether alarms are affected, so check the relevant manual’s alarm section if you need to silence those separately.
