The HTD Hesagraph MkII Variante B is a 39 mm, hand-wound mechanical chronograph with a three-register reverse-panda dial and Italian motorsport styling. Time+Tide’s 24 March 2025 review reported a €1,549 price and immediate availability at the time; neither figure confirms today’s price or stock.
What the MkII Variante B is
Time+Tide described the watch as made in partnership with HTD and noted that its opinions were its own under the publication’s editorial policy. The review presents it as a compact chronograph with styling inspired by Italian motorsport, as well as the Rolex Daytona and Omega Speedmaster. Those references describe design inspiration, not equivalent performance or a direct comparison.
It is a mechanical watch, not a quartz or mechaquartz model. Its Sellita SW510M movement is wound by hand, so the wearer must periodically wind it rather than rely on an automatic rotor.

The 39 mm diameter gives a sense of the case’s width, while the 48 mm lug-to-lug measurement helps gauge how far it may span across a wrist. Time+Tide’s reviewer described the fit positively on a 6.25-inch wrist; that is one wearer’s assessment, not a guarantee of fit for other wrists.

Reverse-panda dial and chronograph layout
The dial has a tobacco-black, reverse-panda appearance, with white backgrounds on the two chronograph totalizers and applied polished hour markers. Its three registers have separate jobs:
- 9 o’clock: running seconds.
- 3 o’clock: 30-minute elapsed-time counter.
- 6 o’clock: 12-hour elapsed-time counter.
This tri-compax arrangement provides both minute and hour chronograph totals alongside the continuously running seconds display.

These are specifications reported in Time+Tide’s review, not results of independent bench testing. The stated 56-hour reserve is the movement’s reported running time when fully wound; actual use depends on the watch’s condition and operation.
Bracelet and adjustment
The reviewed Variante B comes on a three-link stainless-steel bracelet with screwed links and a double-pusher deployant clasp. The clasp has four micro-adjustment positions. The review also notes that the bracelet has no quick-release spring bars and the case has no drilled lugs, so removing the bracelet may be less convenient than on watches designed for quick strap changes.

These proportions balance the detail of a three-register chronograph with a wearable footprint. The 20mm bracelet remains proportionate to the case, while the raised crystal adds vintage depth to the compact design.
Price, availability and the Cannoli name
Time+Tide reported a price of €1,549 and immediate purchase and shipping from HTD’s site in its 24 March 2025 review. That is historical pricing and availability, not confirmation that the MkII Variante B is still offered. Check with HTD for the exact variant’s current price, stock, shipping region and return terms before buying.
The review also describes a Cannoli colourway as a cream-dial, bicompax version with otherwise the same specifications and price. Do not confuse that description with HTD’s separately surfaced Cannoli product page: the page identifies a Hesagraph Pure Speed H19F29, describes a two-register layout and a 63-hour reserve, and displayed “Out Of Stock” / “SOLD-OUT” when surfaced. It is a different product description and does not establish the MkII Variante B’s current availability; the displayed stock status may also have changed.

What to compare before choosing a chronograph
If you are weighing this watch against another chronograph, compare the same practical details for each model rather than relying on styling alone:
- Case diameter, lug-to-lug length and thickness for likely wrist fit.
- Manual or automatic winding, movement identification and available service support.
- Register layout and the elapsed-time functions it provides.
- Water resistance, crystal type and bracelet construction.
- Current price, availability in your region and warranty terms.
The review’s styling references do not establish that the HTD matches any other model in accuracy, durability, finishing or serviceability. Those questions require model-specific evidence.
