Announced in Singapore on 9 October 2025, it pairs a flowing, water-inspired titanium case with a sapphire bezel and a splash-shaped dial opening that reveals its hand-wound movement. Hublot’s US page lists a suggested retail price of $73,000 before VAT; production is limited to 99 pieces.
What is the Hublot MP-17 Meca-10 Arsham Splash?
The MP-17 is a Hublot and Daniel Arsham collaboration, identified by manufacturer reference 917.NJ.6909.RX. Hublot describes it as Arsham’s first wristwatch design for the brand. The watch was announced in Singapore on 9 October 2025 as an extension of the water-droplet concept explored in the earlier MP-16 Arsham Droplet. Hublot’s launch announcement presents the new model as a wristwatch shaped around flowing water, transparency and organic forms.
How does the water-inspired design work?
The concept is expressed through the case silhouette, the frosted box-shaped sapphire bezel and the irregular, splash-shaped opening in the dial. Rather than covering the mechanism with a conventional dial, the opening makes the skeletonized movement part of the watch’s visual composition; it is also visible through the sapphire caseback. The form carries forward the droplet idea of the MP-16, but shifts the emphasis to a splash.
Hublot retains recognizable brand details within that fluid outline: six H-shaped screws, lugs at 3 and 9 o’clock, and an H-shaped titanium folding clasp. Green Arsham accents appear on the hands, numerals, markers, small-seconds hand and power-reserve indicator. The black rubber strap is decorated with Arsham’s monogram.

Arsham described the collaboration in Hublot’s announcement: “This collaboration with Hublot explores the fluidity of time through a case inspired by the perfect geometry of a water droplet, crafted using Hublot’s Meca-10 movement. The watch’s transparent structure captures the clarity and motion of water, suspended, precise, and always in flux.”

These specifications are listed on Hublot’s product page. The 50-metre/5-ATM figure is the manufacturer’s water-resistance rating; it is not, by itself, a recommendation for any particular water activity.

How much does it cost, and where is it sold?
Hublot’s US product page lists a suggested retail price of US$73,000 before VAT. Separately, watch publication Fratello reported a price of €69,000 in an article dated 13 October 2025. These are prices reported in different market and currency contexts, not interchangeable quotations. Fratello’s October 2025 report also gives the edition size as 99 pieces.
Hublot says the watch is available through its boutiques and authorized retailers. That identifies the official sales channels, but does not establish stock at a particular location. No current secondary-market price or inventory is stated in the cited sources.

What the limited-edition claim means
Hublot’s launch announcement states that the MP-17 is limited to 99 pieces. This is the announced production quantity, not a count of watches currently available for sale. Hublot directs prospective buyers to boutiques and authorized retailers for the official route to inquire about availability.
