Its reference is 805.QD.0170.RX. Hublot announced it on May 22, 2025; the details below reflect the brand’s specifications and descriptions, not independent hands-on testing.
What the Square Bang Tourbillon is
Reference 805.QD.0170.RX pairs a square 3D carbon-fiber case and bezel with a skeletonized, hand-wound tourbillon movement. Hublot positions Square Bang as the square-cased branch of its Big Bang family, a collection it says began in 2022. The brand described this model at launch as the first Square Bang with two central hands, a 3D carbon case, a tourbillon regulator and exclusively square bridges.

Movement layout and indications
Hublot says the HUB6023 was developed specifically for the Square Bang Tourbillon and comprises 174 components. Its architecture uses square and rectangular bridges. In the arrangement described by the brand, winding is on the right, the power-reserve display on the left, the barrel above and the tourbillon below. The indicator at nine o’clock counts down the remaining reserve in days and hours; the movement is hand-wound and its stated reserve is at least 96 hours.

That is the manufacturer’s characterization, not an independently verified performance guarantee. The available specifications do not establish an accuracy result.
Case, dial and strap design
Hublot describes the case’s 3D carbon finish as a composite woven in vertical and horizontal lines around a square motif. The black structured rubber strap echoes that square pattern. The sapphire dial leaves the skeleton movement visible, while the two central hands provide the primary time display. These are brand descriptions; they do not establish how legible the watch is in different lighting or how it wears on the wrist.
The listed water resistance is 30 m / 3 ATM. That specification should not be read as a claim that the watch is suitable for swimming or diving; follow Hublot’s current care guidance for the watch.
Launch and price
Hublot announced the model on May 22, 2025. In the launch announcement, CEO Julien Tornare said, “With the Square Bang Tourbillon 4-Day Power Reserve, we wanted to take the exercise to its logical conclusion, by designing a movement whose architecture is also fully right-angled.” The “first” claims and the description of the collection’s history are Hublot’s own framing.

Hublot’s German regional listing displayed a suggested retail price of EUR 113,000 including German VAT in 2026.
