The IFL Watches Citizen Zenshin Titanium Koi Fish is an independently customized Citizen Zenshin Automatic Small Seconds, not an official Citizen collaboration or factory-issued limited edition. IFL says it bought the base watch at retail, then modified it with a hand-painted dial; the company states Citizen did not perform, authorize, or endorse the customization.
What makes the Koi Fish edition different?
IFL identifies the original base watch as Citizen reference NJ0180-80L. The defining change is the dial: IFL describes a hand-painted koi pond scene with koi, lily pads, lotus flowers, and selected details made with UV-reactive paint. Those details are intended to show under ultraviolet light. A UV flashlight is not listed as included, and IFL does not specify a wavelength or particular light.

IFL’s product page makes the provenance clear: “This watch has been customized after original retail purchase.” It also says: “The customization is not performed, authorized, or endorsed by the original manufacturer.” The limited-edition designation therefore refers to IFL’s custom-painted run, not a Citizen factory edition.

The different reserve and lug-to-lug figures should not be treated as a single settled specification: the cited pages do not explain the discrepancies. These are published specifications and seller-reported details, not independent test results.

Price, edition size, and availability
IFL describes the run as 300 pieces worldwide. Fratello reported a US$990 launch price on September 1, 2025; the official US product page also displayed US$990 in an indexed result. IFL’s EU page displayed €990 including VAT and a sold-out/waitlist state. These are dated or indexed page observations, not a guarantee of today’s price or stock.
Availability has differed by region: indexed official pages showed one in stock on the US page and sold out with a waitlist on the EU page. Check the relevant US product page or EU product page for current status before making a purchase decision.

Who provides the warranty?
IFL states that it provides a two-year warranty covering dial installation, craftsmanship, and functional performance. This is IFL’s warranty for its customization and work; it should not be confused with a Citizen manufacturer warranty.
What to check before buying
- Provenance: Treat this as an IFL-customized Citizen, not a Citizen-authorized collaboration.
- Fit: Compare the listed 40.5 mm diameter and 50.0 mm lug-to-lug measurement with a watch you already wear. Fratello reports a different lug-to-lug figure of 46 mm.
- Movement expectations: The sources identify an automatic Caliber 8213, but disagree on its stated reserve; neither source provides an independent accuracy or performance test.
- Purchase terms: Confirm the live regional price, availability, shipping, and applicable warranty terms directly with IFL, since stock and price can change.
The standard Citizen NJ0180-80L is the base reference, but it is not the hand-painted IFL edition. A listing for that standard reference should not be mistaken for this customized watch.
