Time+Tide Watches’ 22 June 2025 roundup spans three very different ideas: a Ressence limited edition built around Emirati sand, a Roger Dubuis collaboration shaped by tattoo art, and Cornell’s vintage-proportioned Lozier. Its wider selection ranges from a unique grand complication to small-batch independent watches. The specifications and prices below are those reported in that dated roundup, not a statement of current availability or pricing.
The three headline releases
| Watch | Design and details | Reported price |
|---|---|---|
| Ressence Type 9 S75 | Limited Type 9 created with UAE retailer Ahmed Seddiqi for its 75th anniversary. The dial incorporates sand from each of the seven Emirates; the strap is genuine camel hide. | CHF 19,900 |
| Roger Dubuis Excalibur Monotourbillon Dr Woo Episode III | Third collaboration with tattoo artist Dr Woo. The two-tone, manual-winding watch takes inspiration from the Whirlpool Galaxy, with a spider motif at 10 o’clock and laser-engraved hieroglyphic lettering on the bezel and bracelet links. | On request |
| Cornell Watch Co. Lozier | Three-hand design with vintage proportions. Its stainless-steel case measures 37.4 mm across and 8.5 mm thick, including the sapphire crystal. The three-tier German-silver dial has a grained finish and diamond-cut edges. | US$6,200 |
All three prices and specifications in this table were reported by Time+Tide Watches in its 22 June 2025 roundup. The source does not establish present-day retail offers.

#1 Best Overall
- Capturing the daring style of Marc Anthony, one of music’s most influential artists, Bulova presents the all-new Marc Anthony Series A.
- The bold, angular silver-tone stainless steel case features brushed finishing with polished accents, a silver-tone bezel with grey accents, a flat mineral crystal, and a screw-down crown. The stunningly vibrant blue dial combines sunray texture along the hour track and a central dial with a radiant sunburst finish, complete with hands with luminescent treatment, polished indices, and a grey running seconds sub-dial.
- The dial is further accented with diamond hour markers at 1, 3, and 5 o’clock, chosen by Marc for their personal significance. Visible through both the dial aperture and an exhibition case back, the open heartbeat automatic movement features 21 jewels and a 42-hour power reserve.
- The 44mm watch has 200m of water resistance and is complemented with a matching silver-tone stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp. Uniting Marc Anthony’s iconic music with Bulova’s proprietary technology and Bold at Heart spirit, this new men’s timepiece will keep you always within style’s rhythm.

How the releases differ
Material and place
The Ressence Type 9 S75 makes its regional connection tangible through sand from all seven Emirates on the dial and a camel-hide strap. Its Seddiqi anniversary tie-in and limited status make the collaboration part of the watch’s identity, rather than just a signature on the dial.
Artistic collaboration
Roger Dubuis takes a more graphic approach: Dr Woo’s third collaboration combines a Whirlpool Galaxy inspiration with a spider motif and engraved lettering. The roundup identifies it as manual-winding and two-tone, but gives no price beyond “on request.”
Rank #2
- Case Size: 39.30 mm, Band Width: 19 mm, Case Thickness: 9.75 mm
- Automatic movement, leather strap, Roman dial type, Date
- Water-resistant up to a pressure of 3 bar (30 m / 100 ft): suitable for short periods of recreational swimming and showering, but no diving or snorkeling.
Vintage proportions
The Cornell Lozier stands apart through restraint. Its 37.4 mm width and 8.5 mm thickness, paired with a layered German-silver dial, are the concrete design points reported for this three-hand watch. At US$6,200 as reported in 2025, it is not directly comparable to watches whose appeal rests on a tourbillon, minute repeater, precious-metal construction or limited production.
How to compare the roundup fairly
These are not interchangeable alternatives. When narrowing the list, compare the attributes that materially affect what each watch offers:
Rank #3
- STYLE: This Michael Kors Slim Runway mens watch features a black sunray dial, three-hand movement and black stainless steel bracelet
- CASE & DIAL: This watch for men has a round 44mm stainless steel case with a black dial; mineral crystal face resists scratches
- WATCH BAND: A mens wrist watch with a black gray stainless steel bracelet band; 22mm band width; links can be removed for a customized fit
- PRECISION TIMEKEEPING: A men's watch with Quartz movement and three-hand analog display; imported
- SWIM-READY Water Resistant: This wrist watch for men is wearable while swimming in shallow water up to 50m (165ft); 5 ATM
- Design and dial: Consider whether the appeal is a distinctive material story, artistic engraving, vintage styling, openworked mechanics or a more conventional diver or chronograph design.
- Case and materials: The stated measurements and material details vary considerably; the roundup supplies them selectively, so avoid assuming an unreported specification.
- Movement and complications: The list ranges from the Wren’s named ETA 2892 movement to the Vacheron Constantin’s minute repeater, split-seconds chronograph and tourbillon. The source summary does not list movement details for every release.
- Edition size: Counts are specified for some models, including the Amida’s first batch of 50 from 150 planned, the 300-piece Venezianico and the 75-piece Nodus. “Limited” or “unique” descriptions elsewhere should not be converted into an unstated production number.
- Price context: Treat each figure as the roundup’s reported price, not a live quote. Differences in materials, complications and scarcity make a simple price ranking a poor measure of like-for-like value.
What this release selection represents
This is a dated selection of watches covered in one week, not a complete catalogue or current buying guide. Its breadth is useful as a snapshot: bespoke high horology appears alongside independent and microbrand releases, while the headline trio shows how collaboration can mean material provenance, an artist-led visual treatment or a design language focused on proportion.
