Turquoise and orange bring a vivid new look to H. Moser & Cie.’s Pioneer line. The Spiced Aqua release, reported by Monochrome Watches on 18 June 2025, applies the color theme to three existing Pioneer watch types: Centre Seconds, Tourbillon and Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton. There are four references in all, because the Centre Seconds comes in standard steel and black DLC-coated steel.
What makes the Spiced Aqua watches different?
Spiced Aqua is a color treatment rather than a new fourth watch type. Its most direct expression is the Centre Seconds, with a turquoise dial and white rubber strap. The Tourbillon reverses the emphasis, pairing an orange fumé dial with a luminous turquoise flange. The skeleton model makes its movement and tourbillon the visual focus.
H. Moser & Cie. describes the Centre Seconds with the line, “A striking turquoise dial that demands your attention. A flange that comes alive after dark. A flawless white strap.” That is the brand’s product copy, not an independently assessed performance claim. The collection spans two Centre Seconds finishes and two more mechanically complex models.

Which Spiced Aqua model suits which preference?
Centre Seconds: the color-first option
The two Centre Seconds references share the 42.8 mm case size and HMC 201 automatic movement. Choose between the 3201-1202’s steel case and the 3201-1205’s black DLC-coated steel finish. The difference in listed price is CHF 1,500 excluding VAT; the black-coated case is the defining distinction in the official specifications.
Tourbillon: smaller case, orange dial
The 3805-1200 is the 40 mm option. Its HMC 805 movement combines a tourbillon with a double hairspring, while the orange fumé dial and turquoise luminous flange make the two-tone palette especially apparent. It is the clearest fit for someone drawn to the more conventional dial layout but looking for a tourbillon complication.

Cylindrical Tourbillon Skeleton: movement on display
The 3811-1203 is larger at 42.8 mm and has a skeleton HMC 811 automatic calibre, cylindrical hairspring and flying tourbillon. The open construction shifts the focus from a solid dial to the mechanism. H. Moser & Cie. calls it “Bold, bare, and beautiful”; that phrase is the manufacturer’s characterization. Its CHF 79,000 listed price is the highest of these four references.

Each official product page states 12 ATM water resistance. That is the manufacturer’s rating, not an independent test, and it does not by itself establish suitability for a particular water activity. The Pioneer collection page also describes the wider line as water resistant to 12 ATM.
