The 2023 Longines Conquest update focused on five 41 mm stainless-steel automatic watches: the same time-and-date design in black, blue, bronze, green, or silver. Their reported launch specification paired a 72-hour power reserve with 10 bar water resistance. They are one chapter in a collection that Longines has since expanded, not the whole current Conquest lineup.
What changed in the 2023 Longines Conquest?
Longines dates protection of the Conquest name to 1954. The brand describes the collection as an everyday line with sporty elegance; its current collection page calls it “The ultimate every day watch.” That is Longines’ positioning, not an independent assessment of wear or performance. The 2023 release covered here is specifically the 41 mm time-and-date automatic model. Time and Watches reported five sunray dial colors, each on a stainless-steel case and H-shaped bracelet. The date sits at 6 o’clock. The article also lists Super-LumiNova, a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and 10 bar (100 m) water resistance. Time and Watches reported a 21 mm lug width for these models. If you are considering an aftermarket strap, confirm the exact reference and end-link or strap fit before ordering; lug width alone does not establish compatibility.

Movement and other reported specifications
Time and Watches lists a self-winding Calibre 888 with a silicon balance spring and a 72-hour power reserve. It also reports magnetic resistance as ten times higher than ISO 764. The available launch-era reporting does not establish the conditions or method behind that comparison, so treat it as a published specification rather than a guarantee against every magnetic field or an independently verified test.

- Water resistance: 10 bar (100 m), as reported for the 2023 models; this is a product rating, not a recommendation for every water activity.
- Power reserve: 72 hours, as reported for the movement.

How the 2023 watches fit into the wider Conquest family
The 41 mm automatics are not synonymous with every Conquest. In a June 14, 2024 release, Longines said the collection had expanded across sizes, colors, and materials, with self-winding movements featuring silicon balance springs and non-magnetic components. The current official collection page displays a broader assortment, including multiple sizes and quartz variants; catalog contents and availability can vary by region and change over time. There is also a separate Conquest chronograph path. Longines’ media-center listing identifies a 42 mm chronograph developed with skier Marco Odermatt in November 2023. Start with the exact reference rather than the collection name. Case diameter is useful, but it does not by itself determine how a watch will sit on your wrist; compare the model in person if possible, or check its full dimensions and bracelet fit against a watch you already wear.

- For the 2023 41 mm automatic: choose among the five references above by dial color and confirm that the listing matches the reference number, not just a generic Conquest image.
- For a different size or quartz model: check the specific current listing. The 2024 expansion and present catalog include options outside the 2023 release.
- For a chronograph: distinguish the 42 mm Marco Odermatt model from the simpler time-and-date watches.
Before buying, compare movement type, case size, materials, water-resistance rating, and local price for the precise model and generation. The reported 2023 launch price was €2,150 / $1,975; that is historical launch-era reporting, not a current quote or a universal price. Check Longines or an authorized local retailer for present availability and pricing.
