HYT’s fluidic display uses the boundary between two liquids to show the hour, but the name “H2O” is ambiguous: the brand’s timeline lists an H2 Titanium black DLC from 2013 and a separate H2.0 from 2018. It does not verify an official model called H2O. That distinction matters because the available official sources do not establish H2.0’s complete specifications, current price, or stock.
First, which HYT watch does “H2O” mean?
HYT’s official timeline identifies H2 Titanium black DLC in 2013 and a distinct H2.0 in 2018. It describes H2.0 as having three-dimensional transparency, with digits, markers, and directive arrows that appear to float when viewed from the side. The timeline does not confirm “H2O” as an official model name or reference, so the spelling alone is not enough to identify a specific watch. Confirm the reference on the watch, its paperwork, or a dealer listing before relying on model-specific specifications or images.
HYT’s timeline presents H2.0 as a watch about the visual experience of time, emphasizing the layered, floating appearance of its indications. That description is not a complete specification sheet, however, and it does not resolve whether a listing labeled “H2O” refers to H2.0 or another exact reference.
How HYT’s fluidic hour indication works
The fluidic display is the retrograde hour indication. A colored liquid and a transparent liquid sit in a capillary connected to flexible reservoirs. The movement drives the bellows, which move the liquids through the capillary. The meniscus—the visible boundary where the two liquids meet—is the reading point for the current hour. HYT explains the principle on its About us page.

At the end of the display’s cycle, HYT says the colored fluid retreats to its starting point at 06:00. This rewind is part of the display’s operation; it does not mean the watch has switched to a digital or electronic time display. The liquid indication works alongside a mechanical movement.
What is—and is not—established about H2.0’s specifications
The official timeline establishes the H2 Titanium black DLC and H2.0 names and their respective years, but it does not give H2.0’s complete movement details, case dimensions, water resistance, or price. HYT’s available H2 user guide is for a differently named model. Its instructions can clarify the general fluidic concept, but they should not be treated as confirmation that every specification or procedure applies unchanged to H2.0.
That means a reliable H2.0 specification table cannot be completed from the available official material. In particular, do not transfer figures from another HYT model just because it also has a fluidic display. For example, HYT lists the T1 Titanium Silver at 45.30 mm wide, 46.30 mm long, 17.20 mm thick, with 50 m water resistance and a manual-winding 501-CM movement with a 72-hour power reserve. Those are T1 Titanium Silver specifications, not H2 or H2.0 specifications.
Price and availability
No model-specific suggested price or current stock for H2 or H2.0 is established by the official sources cited here. HYT’s T1 Titanium Silver page lists CHF 48,000 excluding taxes, but that price belongs to the T1 and is not a valid estimate for H2.0.

For a new or pre-owned example, first confirm the exact reference, then ask HYT or an approved dealer for a current quote and availability. A pre-owned asking price is not the same as a completed sale; any comparison should identify the date, currency, condition, included box and papers, and exact reference.

The H2 manual says the meniscus indicates the time and that replacement of the fluidic system must be carried out by a professional watchmaker approved by HYT. It also covers careful crown use when setting the time and storage practices for an extended stop. Because this is an H2 guide, confirm the instructions for the exact reference rather than assuming they apply unchanged to H2.0.
HYT’s warranty page displays a five-year manufacturing-defect warranty for eligible watches purchased from an approved dealer. Its stated exclusions include damage caused by incorrect handling or use; it also says that work by a third party not approved by HYT voids the warranty. Coverage depends on the individual watch and its purchase and service history, so verify eligibility with HYT or an approved provider.
Photos and reference checks before buying
HYT’s timeline provides the brand’s description of H2.0’s visual design, but a photo labeled “H2O” cannot by itself verify the watch’s exact model or authenticity. Compare the listing’s reference and paperwork against information from HYT or an approved dealer, and request clear images of the dial, case sides, caseback, and included documentation. Do not assume a strap shown in a listing is a factory fitment: HYT’s shop lists rubber and Velcro straps, but the available page does not establish compatibility with H2.0.
