The Aera C-1 Chrono is a 42mm automatic chronograph with a black reverse-panda dial, two white sub-dials, and a Sellita SW510 BH movement. Its 904L steel case, 56-hour power reserve, and 100m water-resistance rating give the mid-century motorsport reference a thoroughly modern specification. Aera describes it as a 300-piece limited edition.
Mid-century racing cues, pared back
Aera frames the C-1 Chrono around the golden age of motoring. The black dial and two contrasting white registers form a reverse-panda layout associated with classic chronographs, while the design is presented in a more minimal contemporary style. Fratello’s launch coverage also noted the black-and-white dial and motorsport styling (Fratello’s launch coverage).
Aera identifies the watch as Swiss Made and British Design. It is a distinct model from the C-1 Cloud and C-1 Shadow; their colors and package details should not be assumed to apply to the Chrono. See Aera’s C-1 Chrono product page.

Straps, price, and purchase terms
Aera’s product page currently describes two included straps: pebble-grain Italian leather with black stitching, and a battleship-grey rubber strap. Both are listed with matching brushed 904L hardware and quick-release spring bars. Fratello’s launch-era coverage described the leather as black Italian calfskin, so the strap description differs between the launch article and the current manufacturer listing. For the package being offered, consult the relevant local product page.
Prices vary by market and can change. At the time represented by the reviewed pages, Aera’s Swedish-market product page displayed €2,800, while its collection page listed £2,200 for the C-1 Chrono. Fratello’s launch-era article gave £2,200 / $2,475 and said US shipping and customs were not included; that launch-era US figure should not be read as a current US price. Check the local product listing and Aera’s collection page for current market-specific terms.
Aera advertises a two-year limited warranty, extendable by one year with registration within 30 days, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Terms may depend on the buyer’s market, so confirm them with the applicable listing before purchase.

What the published specifications tell you
The 42mm diameter is only one part of the fit picture: Aera also lists a 49.55mm lug-to-lug span and 15.75mm thickness. Those measurements, together with the 95g case weight without a strap, offer more context than diameter alone when considering how the watch may wear. They are dimensions, not a substitute for trying it on.
The 22mm lug width and included quick-release straps make changing between the listed leather and rubber options straightforward according to Aera. The published 10 ATM / 100m rating is the manufacturer’s water-resistance specification; it is not an independent test result.
