The Bell & Ross BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is a 41 mm, all-black skeleton watch in ceramic, limited to 500 pieces. Its automatic BR-CAL.322-1 movement is specified with a 54-hour power reserve, and the watch is rated to 100 metres of water resistance. Bell & Ross frames the dark finish as a Phantom, or stealth-inspired, design; the listed US ceramic-bracelet version was priced at $10,400 and marked unavailable when captured, so buyers should verify current local stock and price.
What the BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic is
This is a ceramic version of Bell & Ross’s BR-05 skeleton watch, reference BR05A-PH-SK-CE/SCE for the ceramic-bracelet configuration. Bell & Ross lists the edition as limited to 500 pieces; the product page does not state a year for that edition figure. The movement is automatic caliber BR-CAL.322-1, with hours, minutes and seconds and a manufacturer-stated 54-hour power reserve. Bell & Ross’s official product listing is the primary source for these specifications.
How the Phantom design works
Bell & Ross describes the watch as an all-black Phantom design and says its Phantom concept has been inspired by stealth aircraft since 2007. The brand’s exact description is: “The BR-05 Skeleton Phantom Ceramic has a stealthy, all-black look.” That is the manufacturer’s design language, not an independently measured performance claim.
The skeleton dial uses a black-tinted transparent plate over a rhodium-plated movement. Bell & Ross says the indexes and hands emit green light in darkness. The dark dial treatment preserves the watch’s monochrome appearance while allowing the movement to remain visible through the plate.

Bracelet and rubber-strap references
The ceramic bracelet and rubber strap are listed as separate configurations rather than a single reference. The ceramic-bracelet model is BR05A-PH-SK-CE/SCE. Bell & Ross lists the rubber-strap version as BR05A-PH-SK-CE/SRB; its official listing gives the same core movement, case, dial, crystal and water-resistance specifications. Check the precise reference and included strap in the seller’s description and order documentation.
Price and availability depend on market
When captured, Bell & Ross’s US listing showed $10,400 for the ceramic-bracelet reference and marked it unavailable. The European listing showed €9,990 and also marked the watch unavailable. These are regional snapshots, not a guaranteed current price or evidence of availability in another country. Check the relevant Bell & Ross market page or an authorized local retailer for current stock, taxes, delivery terms and final price.

Feldmar Watch Co.’s listing identifies the same reference and states that the retailer is authorized and that a two-year manufacturer warranty applies. Confirm that the listing remains active, the seller’s authorization is current, and the warranty will be properly activated before buying.

- Exact version: Match the reference number to the ceramic bracelet or rubber strap you want; the two configurations have separate references.
- Availability and total cost: Ask for confirmed stock and a final price in your market, including any applicable taxes, shipping or import charges.
- Warranty activation: Bell & Ross’s BR-05 skeleton user guide says the two-year international warranty card must be activated at purchase by an approved point of sale. The guide covers the BR-05 Skeleton Black Ceramic family, so ask Bell & Ross whether its instructions apply to this Phantom reference and ensure the point of sale completes the required activation.
- Service route: The same family guide says servicing should be handled by a Bell & Ross service centre or approved watchmaker. Confirm the available service route and terms for your location.
- Fit and wear: The official specifications give a 41 mm width and 11.2 mm thickness. If possible, try the watch on; those dimensions alone do not establish how it will feel on your wrist.
The specifications describe materials and water resistance, but they do not establish comparative durability or comfort. If you are weighing it against another skeleton or ceramic sports watch, compare published dimensions, movement and power reserve, water-resistance rating, materials, strap configuration, edition size, regional pricing, dealer status and warranty/service arrangements rather than inferring performance from the all-black finish.
