Officially named OCEAN OF STORMS and numbered SO35B400, it pairs Swatch’s SISTEM51 movement with a 50-fathom water-resistance rating and a recycled-fishing-net NATO strap.
What is the Ocean of Storms?
OCEAN OF STORMS is one model in Swatch’s Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms collection, a Blancpain x Swatch collaboration honoring Blancpain’s Fifty Fathoms. Swatch describes the Fifty Fathoms as a diver’s watch created in 1953. The model’s name refers to Oceanus Procellarum, which Swatch identifies as the largest lunar mare, spanning more than 2,500 kilometers from north to south. Swatch says the New Moon inspired the design; its account also describes a rotor print depicting Oceanus Procellarum and the Okenia Luna nudibranch. Swatch’s U.S. product page and collection page provide the brand’s product and design descriptions.

These specifications are published by Swatch on its OCEAN OF STORMS product listing. The 42.3 mm diameter, 14.4 mm thickness, and 48.0 mm lug-to-lug give a more complete picture of the case’s dimensions than diameter alone; whether the watch suits a particular wrist is a matter of fit, not something established by the listed measurements.
What Swatch says about the SISTEM51 movement
Swatch describes SISTEM51 as a Swiss-made mechanical movement with 51 parts, including one central screw. The manufacturer states that it offers 90-hour autonomy and uses a Nivachron hairspring. The movement is visible through the transparent display back. These are Swatch’s published specifications, not independent measurements of timekeeping or power reserve.
