Its design softens the view of the mechanics with a darkening green gradient, while leaving the caliber visible beneath it. The watch was announced in December 2024 with a €32,000 launch price excluding taxes; that was a historical preorder price, not confirmation of today’s availability or cost.
What makes the Viridian Green different?
The watch takes the dress-oriented Promenade collection, introduced by Czapek in 2024, and gives it a partially transparent dial. The green fumé sapphire disk is tinted rather than opaque, so the openworked SXH7.1 remains visible but is seen through a layer of color. The gradient radiates from the small-seconds subdial at roughly 4 to 4:30 and darkens toward the dial’s perimeter. Monochrome Watches and Time+Tide Watches describe the release as the second collaboration between Fratello and Czapek, following their Viridian Green Antarctique.
Applied hour markers and a luminous minute track provide conventional time-reading cues against the exposed movement. Time+Tide notes that the small seconds can be harder to read in some lighting, a practical trade-off of placing the dial’s strongest visual emphasis around that subdial.

Monochrome describes the SXH7.1’s micro-rotor as recycled platinum and its finishing as including open ratchets, sandblasted bridges, bevelling, straight-grained sides and hand chamfering. Launch edition, price and availability
Monochrome reported a 50-piece edition, with preorder through Fratello Shop scheduled to open on December 6, 2024. The stated launch price was €32,000 excluding taxes, with a 30% deposit and delivery expected at the end of July 2025. Time+Tide also reported the edition size, preorder date, expected delivery month and €32,000 price. Those preorder and delivery dates have passed, so the launch terms should not be read as a current offer.
Czapek’s official homepage, consulted on October 8, 2026, features a later Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue edition and links to retailer and service pathways, but does not say whether the Viridian Green is still available, sold out or offered on the secondary market. No current price or stock status is established. Check with Czapek or an authorized retailer for present availability rather than relying on the 2024 launch price.
