The Czapek Antarctique S is the 38.5mm version of the Antarctique, designed as a smaller alternative to the original 40.5mm model. Czapek introduced the S in 2022. Its Polar Sky version is listed at CHF 26,000 before taxes; the model name covers other dial variants with different launch dates and specifications, so that price should not be applied to every Antarctique S.
What is the Czapek Antarctique S?
The Antarctique S is the smaller-case sibling of Czapek’s original Antarctique. The original arrived in May 2020 with a 40.5mm case; Czapek says the 38.5mm S followed in 2022. The brand describes the smaller case as “a smaller case size designed to be elegant and comfortable on slimmer wrists.”
The S is a case-size designation, not a single dial or edition. Official examples include the Polar Sky and Glacier Blue, as well as the limited Frozen Meteor, which has a Gibeon meteorite dial. Their details should be read by variant rather than assumed to apply across the range.

These figures are specific to the Polar Sky product sheet. The 2022 Glacier Blue S launch release, for example, states a 56-hour power reserve, so the reserve should be checked against the exact reference.
How much does the Antarctique S cost?
Polar Sky
Czapek’s official Polar Sky listing gives a price of CHF 26,000. Its product sheet specifies that the figure is before taxes. This is the listed price for Polar Sky, not a universal price for every S variant.

Glacier Blue at launch
The 2022 Glacier Blue S press release listed launch prices of CHF 19,500, €19,000, or US$22,000, all before taxes. Those are historical prices for that launch variant and date; they should not be treated as the current price of Polar Sky or all Antarctique S watches.
Does the 38.5mm case suit your wrist?
Czapek recommends the 38.5mm Polar Sky for wrists under 16.5cm, while noting that proportions are subjective. That recommendation is a useful starting point, not a guarantee of fit: wrist shape and personal preference affect how a watch wears. The original 40.5mm Antarctique remains the larger documented alternative.

What makes the Frozen Meteor different?
The Antarctique S Frozen Meteor is a distinct 38.5mm variant with a Gibeon meteorite dial and Calibre SXH5. Czapek’s official product page limits it to 25 pieces. That edition quantity and dial material apply to Frozen Meteor, not to every watch carrying the Antarctique S name.
