Gagà Laboratorio’s Labormatic collection pairs an unconventional time display with distinct color-led designs. Champagne and Azzurro are the two models introduced alongside the Cinquanta; Champagne is champagne-gold, while Azzurro uses a soft pastel blue. The Azzurro’s official listing specifies a 42 mm steel case, automatic La Joux-Perret movement and 68-hour power reserve.
Three names, two new colorways
Cinquanta, Champagne and Azzurro are separate model names in the Labormatic family, not one combined reference. Gagà Laboratorio’s Labormatic collection lists all three, along with other variants. The Champagne and Azzurro names describe the new models’ contrasting looks: champagne-gold and pastel blue, respectively. Launch coverage describes both with color-matched handmade Saffiano leather straps.
The official Azzurro page frames its subdued blue as an echo of pastel tones associated with postwar Italian design. That makes color and strap configuration the clearest practical distinction established in the available specifications; the sources do not establish that one model performs better than another.
How the Labormatic tells time
Instead of putting conventional hour and minute hands on a standard dial, the Labormatic combines a digital hour indication with analog minutes and a central seconds display. The crown is positioned at 12 o’clock. Gagà Laboratorio labels the hour function “Digital Hour Display.”

The Azzurro has a double-curved sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a transparent sapphire caseback, according to the official product page. Fratello’s partnership-disclosed hands-on article describes the family’s segmented dial, hour aperture and rotating central seconds disc; those are that publication’s observations, not a separate technical test.

These are the figures on the manufacturer’s current Azzurro listing. Monochrome’s 2025 launch coverage corroborates the principal technical details for Champagne and Azzurro, including the 68-hour reserve. Fratello reports a 51 mm lug-to-lug measurement for a Labormatic configuration in its hands-on article; the official Azzurro listing cited here does not state that measurement, so it should not be treated as a confirmed Azzurro dimension.

Price, delivery and availability
At the time the official Azzurro product page was accessed, it displayed CHF 3,900 excluding VAT and an estimated delivery time of 5–10 working days. Those are listing snapshots, not a guarantee of current stock or delivery. The official collection page displayed some Labormatic variants at CHF 4,000 excluding VAT, so the price should be checked against the exact reference and configuration.
Monochrome reported a CHF 3,900 launch price excluding tax for Champagne and Azzurro, with availability beginning June 5, 2025. That launch announcement does not establish present inventory or local pricing. Before purchasing, confirm the reference, included strap, tax treatment, delivery estimate and warranty terms with the brand or seller. Gagà Laboratorio describes an international three-year warranty program, renewable for a lifetime after registration through The Clab; check the current official warranty terms for eligibility and process.
