It has 24 jewels and an approximately 72-hour power reserve, or about three days when fully wound, according to Grand Seiko’s caliber 9S64 specifications. Unlike an automatic movement, it is not designed to replenish its power from wrist movement: the owner winds it by hand. If left unworn and unwound beyond its reserve, it will stop and need winding and resetting before use.

What accuracy does Grand Seiko specify?
Grand Seiko gives two different accuracy figures, and they describe different conditions. The mean daily rate is +5 to -3 seconds per day in the manufacturer’s controlled movement test before assembly. Its stated normal-use accuracy is +10 to -1 seconds per day. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements of an individual watch; results in everyday wear can vary.
