Hanhart says the 300-piece edition is split evenly between MFG 3 and MFG 5 crest versions. One specification needs checking: Monochrome’s launch coverage names a Sellita movement, while Hanhart’s current product page names a Soprod base.
Two squadron crests, 300 watches
Hanhart presents the FLY NAVY Aerosphere as a special edition inspired by naval aviation. The caseback carries the insignia of the selected Naval Air Wing and an individual limitation number. The complete run is 300 watches: 150 bearing the MFG 3 crest and 150 bearing the MFG 5 crest, according to Hanhart and launch coverage by Monochrome Watches.
The MFG 3 and MFG 5 versions are distinguished by their respective insignia; the available sources do not establish other specification differences between them. Both retain the same 42 mm case and core feature set.
Case, bezel and water-oriented features
Hanhart lists a stainless-steel case measuring 42 mm across, 12.95 mm thick and 49 mm from lug to lug. The 49 mm measurement is useful when considering how the watch may span the wrist, though dimensions alone cannot establish comfort or fit.

The ceramic-insert bezel rotates counterclockwise in 60 clicks and has a fluted edge and yellow marking. Its triangle, indices and numerals are luminous. The convex sapphire crystal has internal anti-reflective treatment. Hanhart specifies 30 bar (30 ATM, approximately 300 m) water resistance, crown protection and a helium valve, and states conformity with DIN 8310. These are manufacturer specifications; no independent water-resistance test is reported here.
Dial and functions
The navy-blue dial carries Naval Air Command insignia. Hanhart specifies Super-LumiNova C1 GL on the numerals and hands, and a Poseidon trident detail on the seconds hand. The listed functions are hours, minutes, seconds and a date with quick correction.

Movement: two different published specifications
The movement descriptions do not match. Monochrome’s launch article identifies a Sellita SW200 automatic movement, running at 4 Hz and offering a 38-hour power reserve. Hanhart’s current product page instead describes an automatic movement based on the Soprod SOP P024, with 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 A/h (4 Hz) and a 38-hour reserve. Neither source explains the discrepancy.
Because both accounts agree on the frequency and reserve but name different movement bases, buyers should confirm the movement fitted to the specific watch or reference with Hanhart or the seller. The available information does not establish whether the specification changed, varies by configuration or reflects an error.

Strap and bracelet configurations
Hanhart lists a Hook Strap textile option, rubber straps and a stainless-steel bracelet, depending on configuration. Its product page gives a 20 mm lug width for the Hook Strap and rubber configurations. Confirm the exact interface and fit before buying a replacement strap; the listed width alone does not verify compatibility with every strap or bracelet.

Quick Recap
What to weigh before choosing one
- Wrist fit: Consider the 42 mm diameter, 12.95 mm thickness and 49 mm lug-to-lug measurement together, rather than relying on diameter alone.
- Intended use: The bezel, stated water resistance and other hardware give the watch dive-oriented features, while its stated special-edition identity centers on naval aviation.
- Configuration: Choose between textile, rubber and bracelet options, and verify the precise strap or bracelet fit.
- Movement certainty: Resolve the Sellita-versus-Soprod discrepancy for the individual watch before purchase if the movement base matters to you.
- Edition choice: Select MFG 3 or MFG 5 by crest preference; each version is stated to be limited to 150 pieces.
