Its defining feature is a traveller-style GMT: the local-hour hand adjusts independently, making it possible to change local time without resetting the home-time display. Horage offers it in Sand, Coral and Ocean dial colors.
What is the Horage Molokini?
Molokini is Horage’s compact, sport-oriented GMT diver collection. Horage says it developed the smaller dial in response to community requests and describes the collection as playful; those are the brand’s stated design aims, rather than an independent assessment. The case and bracelet are 904L stainless steel.
The dimensions are 38mm in diameter, 9.65mm thick and 44.6mm from lug to lug. The front crystal is domed sapphire with multilayer anti-reflective treatment, and the caseback is sapphire as well. Water resistance is rated to 200m, and the bezel turns in one direction for elapsed-time tracking.
How the GMT works
Horage calls the Molokini a true, or traveller-style, GMT. In plain terms, its centre local-hour hand can be adjusted independently, so a wearer changing time zones can move the local time while retaining the home-time indication. This differs from a caller-style arrangement, in which the GMT hand is typically the independently adjusted display.

The display combines centre local-hour, home-hour, minute and seconds hands with a 24-hour day/night indicator, power-reserve indicator and big date. Horage places the date at 6 o’clock, the day/night display at 9 and the reserve indicator at 10. Monochrome describes the date as a vertical big date and the other indicators as compact display discs.
K2 movement, reserve and certification
The watch uses Horage’s K2 automatic micro-rotor movement, specified at 3.6mm high and 30mm in diameter. Horage lists a gold-plated tungsten micro-rotor, silicon spring and escapement, screw balance regulation, hand-finished Côtes de Genève and an anthracite finish. Monochrome reports a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

Horage specifies a 72-hour power reserve and COSC chronometer certification. The official product page gives the certified accuracy range as -4/+6 seconds per day and says each watch ships with a paper certificate matched to its movement number. These are manufacturer-stated specifications; no independent performance testing is reported here.
Dial colors, bracelet and included strap
The three dial options are Sand, Coral and Ocean. Each comes on a three-link 904L steel bracelet that tapers from 20mm to 16mm. Horage’s Micro Adjustable Clasp (HMAC) provides 10mm of adjustment in 1mm increments, useful for fine-tuning fit.

Horage says an “OTAN” fabric strap is included, with white/black, white/sand and white/coral combinations named on its product page. Check the live product options to confirm which combination is supplied with a particular dial or order.

Monochrome reported a CHF 5,990 preorder price for orders placed from February 10 through February 28, 2026, and a CHF 6,490 retail price. Its February 17, 2026 article said deliveries were scheduled to begin in early May 2026. Those dates describe the launch offer and its projected delivery schedule; the preorder window has passed.

What the specifications mean for a buyer
- Compact proportions: The 38mm diameter and 44.6mm lug-to-lug span provide useful sizing references, though wrist fit also depends on shape and personal preference.
- GMT for travel: The independently adjustable local-hour hand is the key practical distinction for changing time zones while keeping home time visible.
- Dive-watch features: A unidirectional bezel and 200m rating establish the core dive-watch specification, but water resistance is not a substitute for checking seals, crown operation and the manufacturer’s care guidance.
- Everyday flexibility: The adjustable clasp and included fabric strap offer different ways to wear the watch; confirm the strap combination attached to the selected configuration.
- Price context: The official store’s CHF 6,490 listing matches the retail figure reported at launch, while the lower CHF 5,990 figure was tied to a dated preorder period.
