How does the Big Date and movement work?
MIDO says the Big Date uses two separately rotating discs to show the date at 12 o’clock. The brand says its numerals are almost three times larger than those on watches of equivalent diameter. The automatic Caliber 80 is listed with up to 80 hours of power reserve, so a fully wound watch can continue running for that period under the manufacturer’s stated maximum; actual reserve depends on use and winding.

Can you replace the bracelet with a strap?
MIDO lists a 22 mm lug width, but that measurement alone does not establish that a generic 22 mm strap will fit. The bracelet may use shaped end links or other geometry specific to the case.
