The Ochs & Junior Calendario Cent’Anni (CCA) is a mechanical wristwatch with a 100-year calendar designed by Ludwig Oechslin. Instead of a conventional date window, it uses a moving dot on a spiral to show the date, with central disks indicating the month and leap-year position. The manufacturer says its nine-component calendar module handles 28-, 29-, 30- and 31-day months across a 100-year span without adjustment for month length.
How to read the CCA calendar display
The calendar information is spread across the dial rather than presented in a numbered window. Read the date from the rectangular dot as it moves clockwise around the spiral. The manufacturer describes the central date disk as indicating the months; an annual disk turns once every four years to mark the leap-year position and the three following years.
- Date: Follow the rectangular dot around the spiral to the date position.
- Month: Read the month from the central date disk.
- Leap-year cycle: The annual disk identifies the leap-year position and the next three years.
Ochs und Junior says the calendar indicates the correct date through months of 28, 29, 30 or 31 days across 100 years without a month-length correction. That is the manufacturer’s stated span; it should not be read as a claim of indefinite operation.
What is inside the nine-component calendar module?
Ochs und Junior attributes the CCA design to Ludwig Oechslin and describes its calendar module as having nine individual components. The named parts are the brass dial with a functional back, date disk, annual star wheel, main plate, gear wheel, month wheel, gear finger, month-end transmission wheel and month-end wheel. The date spiral is the visible expression of that mechanism, rather than a conventional date window.

Movement, case and warranty
The CCA uses an automatic Ulysse Nardin UN-320 movement. The model-specific product information gives a 48-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 beats per hour. Ochs und Junior says the watch is assembled at its atelier in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland.

How to set the CCA calendar
The CCA-specific instructions begin with winding and then use the crown to set the calendar. Follow the manufacturer’s sequence:

- Unscrew the crown counterclockwise.
- Wind clockwise until the power-reserve indicator reaches its full marker.
- Pull the crown to position 2 and set the time to 7:50 a.m. The control dot should then be visible.
- Return the crown to position 1 and turn it forward or backward to set the current year, month and date.
- Tighten the crown gently to avoid damaging the thread.
The manual warns: “The date should not be adjusted backwards past the end of a month using the hands in crown position 2.” The CCA product page specifies a 48-hour reserve; a separate general perpetual-calendar manual gives 60 hours, which is not the model-specific figure for this watch.

The official shop lists three versions: CCA I, CCA II and CCA III. On 2026-10-08, the manufacturer displayed CHF 16,463.60 including 8.1% Swiss VAT, or CHF 15,230 as the export price, for each version; readiness was listed as three to six months. These are time-sensitive shop details, so check the current Ochs und Junior listing for availability and pricing.
