Its integrated platinum micro-rotor helps keep the complete watch to 7.8 mm thick. The current model is reference PFC914-1020023-100182, which Parmigiani Fleurier lists as a 2026 novelty.
What is the Tonda PF Micro-Rotor Agave Blue?
It is the steel-and-platinum version of Parmigiani Fleurier’s Tonda PF Micro-Rotor No Date. The reference covered here is PFC914-1020023-100182; other Agave Blue variants have different case-metal combinations, so the color name alone does not identify this configuration. The brand’s product page describes the dial color as shifting between mineral blue, vegetal green and soft grey in changing light. That is the manufacturer’s description, not a measured color standard.
The design pairs that patterned dial with a restrained two-hand layout. Parmigiani Fleurier CEO Guido Terreni described the No Date design in the brand’s 9 April 2024 launch material as an effort to achieve “absolute clarity.” His statement concerns the No Date concept and a Golden Siena dial context, not specifically the Agave Blue colorway. Parmigiani Fleurier’s 2024 launch page.
Case, dial and display
The manufacturer specifies a 40.0 mm stainless-steel case, 7.8 mm thick, with a 950 platinum bezel. The matching bracelet is stainless steel. A sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment covers the dial, and a sapphire case back reveals the movement.

The Agave Blue dial has a hand-guilloché Grain d’Orge pattern. Applied indices are 18 ct gold with rhodium plating; the hour and minute hands are delta-shaped. There is no date window, and the official specification lists no seconds hand. This is a watch for someone who prefers the time display to remain uncluttered, rather than a complication-rich dial.
How the PF703 micro-rotor works
The automatic PF703 calibre uses a platinum micro-rotor integrated into the movement. A rotor winds the mainspring as the wearer moves; the compact, integrated arrangement avoids placing a conventional full-size rotor above the rest of the calibre. In this watch, that architecture accompanies a 3.07 mm-thick movement and a 7.8 mm-thick finished case.

The movement’s finish is visible through the sapphire back. T3 reviewer Sam Cross praised that finishing in a hands-on review published 28 March 2026, after wearing the watch for about a week; that is a reviewer’s impression, not an independent technical assessment. T3’s hands-on review.
Water resistance and everyday considerations
Parmigiani Fleurier states water resistance of 100 m. This is a manufacturer specification; it does not by itself establish a particular swimming or diving warranty. The product listing also specifies sapphire front and back, but does not provide additional usage instructions in the listed specifications.

The 48-hour power reserve means the watch can run for up to that stated interval when fully wound and left unworn, according to the published specification. If it stops after more than that time off the wrist, it will need winding and time-setting before use. The display has no seconds hand, so it does not offer a visible seconds readout for precise synchronization.

It says an additional two years may be available after creating a My PF account and registering the watch, subject to eligibility and conditions; registration does not guarantee that every purchase qualifies. In his week-long wear account, T3’s Sam Cross called the case slim, noted that the dial catches the light, and described the bracelet fit as comfortable. He also singled out the visible movement finishing. Those points offer a wearer’s perspective on the proportions and presentation, but they are subjective observations rather than controlled tests. T3’s article discusses a yellow-gold version in its prose, while the reference in this article is the current steel-and-platinum listing; the configurations should not be conflated.

- Defined by exceptional quality and sophisticated aesthetics, the Bulova men's Surveyor is the quintessential modern timepiece
- Sculpted edges and faceting distinguish the silver-tone stainless steel case, with polished and brushed finishing, a flat sapphire crystal, and a 3-link stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp with easy-release latched spring bars

Who this version is for
The Agave Blue makes the most sense for a buyer drawn to a refined, slim automatic with a distinctive textured dial and very little on the face beyond the time. The micro-rotor is a meaningful part of its movement design, and the platinum bezel adds a precious-metal accent without changing the steel case-and-bracelet character. Its trade-offs are equally clear: no date, no seconds display, and a premium listed price. A detailed head-to-head against another specific model is not included here because the available evidence does not establish a well-documented competing watch.
