Piaget’s khaki-green pairing puts two very different ultra-thin watches side by side: the 41 mm Altiplano 910P in 18K yellow gold, with automatic winding, and the 41.5 mm Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon, a 2 mm cobalt-alloy watch with a hand-wound flying tourbillon. Their shared color is the link; their construction and wearing proposition are not interchangeable.
Two watches, one khaki-green palette
The Altiplano 910P Khaki Green is reference G0A50126. Timekeepers Club reports a 41 mm 18K yellow-gold case measuring 4.3 mm thick and a green alligator-leather strap. The Altiplano Ultimate Concept Tourbillon Khaki Green is reference G0A50530. Waqt reports a 41.5 mm cobalt-alloy case just 2 mm thick, paired with a green textured calfskin strap; Monochrome describes the strap’s pattern as polished-mesh-like. These specifications and descriptions are reported by secondary watch publications, rather than verified here against Piaget product documentation. Timekeepers Club Waqt Monochrome Watches

How the 910P differs from the tourbillon
910P: automatic winding in a thin gold case
The 910P uses automatic Calibre 910P and a peripheral rotor, the winding arrangement that coverage associates with its slim construction. Timekeepers Club reports a 48-hour power reserve, while Waqt reports 50 hours; the available secondary accounts therefore do not establish one unambiguous figure. Its 20 m water-resistance rating is also a reported specification, not a reason to treat the watch as suitable for swimming. Timekeepers Club Waqt
Ultimate Concept Tourbillon: a hand-wound 2 mm showcase
The tourbillon’s defining contrast is its 2 mm overall thickness and hand-wound Calibre 970P-UC with a flying tourbillon. Waqt reports a minimum 35-hour power reserve. It is the more mechanically unusual of the pair, but that description does not make it a current thinnest-watch record holder: Monochrome reports that the later Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon measures 1.85 mm. - Free-sprung Balance Manta Series Tourbillon.
What the 2 mm claim does—and does not—mean
At its 2024 introduction, the Piaget was presented as a record-setting tourbillon watch at 2 mm thick. That is a launch-era, category-specific claim, not a current record: Monochrome’s 2025 coverage reports the Bulgari Octo Finissimo Ultra Tourbillon at 1.85 mm. The Piaget remains accurately described by its reported dimensions and tourbillon construction without calling it the thinnest available today. Monochrome Watches
Customization, price and availability
Monochrome reports that the Ultimate Concept Tourbillon joined Piaget’s Infinitely Personal customization program, described as enabling clients to co-create finishes, materials and engravings with a configurator and sales-advisor involvement. This does not establish which options are currently accessible in a particular country. Ask Piaget or a local authorized retailer about present program access, configuration choices and delivery.

- This tourbillon crafted by Swiss chief designer Etienne Ruffieux with modern architectural aesthetics, features a lightweight, comfortable, free-sprung balance flying tourbillon. It houses an independently developed architectural tourbillon movement adorned with oversized ruby bearings. The design aesthetic is expressed through the interplay of light and shadow created by its extreme skeletonization. The watch has been honored with the IAI Global Design Award for its outstanding original design.
- Independently developed CAL9001 free-sprung balance flying tourbillon movement, manual winding, 28,880 vibrations per hour, 25 ruby bearings. Features high-end finishing including satin brushing and beveled edges, engraved brand logo with gold-stamped. Dual mainspring series technology delivers 80-hour power reserve (twice that of standard tourbillon movements). This technology ensures more uniform and gradual mainspring release, resulting in enhanced timekeeping precision and stability.
- The CAL9001 tourbillon movement features the exclusive free-sprung micro-adjustment technology typically reserved for luxury timepieces. This free-sprung system eliminates the need for a balance spring regulator, thereby overcoming the timing inaccuracies caused by regulator displacement in conventional mechanical movements. This ensures the watch delivers enhanced precision and stability in timekeeping.
- This tourbillon measures 40mm in diameter and just 9.7mm in thickness, weighing a mere 67 grams. Its meticulously engineered structure and radically skeletonized tourbillon movement eliminate all superfluous metal components, allowing the mechanical artistry of the free-sprung flying tourbillon to shine in its purest form. It is an exquisite, high-end tourbillon watch that is both ultra-thin and supremely comfortable.
- The watch is water-resistant to 50 meters, featuring a double-sided sapphire crystal and an Italian leather strap with hand-stitched detailing for comfortable and durable wear. We offer a three-year worldwide warranty.
Secondary launch-era price reports conflict: Timekeepers Club lists €40,500 for the 910P and €730,000 for the tourbillon; Monochrome gives approximately €39,000 for the 910P and says the tourbillon price is upon request; Waqt says prices are upon request. These are publication-era figures, not verified current prices, and they do not establish current availability or sales channels. Confirm local pricing and stock with Piaget.
