The Seiko Presage SPB361 and SPB363 are paired Sharp Edged Series limited editions with matching black cases and asanoha-patterned dials—but their movements make them different watches. Choose the SPB361 for dual-time functionality and a power-reserve indicator; the smaller SPB363 keeps to time and date and has the longer stated power reserve.

Which model suits you?
Choose the SPB361 for dual time and extra indications
The SPB361 uses the 6R64, which adds a 24-hour hand for dual-time use, a date hand, and a power-reserve indicator. Its calendar-linked time-difference adjustment lets the local time be adjusted in hour increments. This is the more function-rich option for someone who wants a second time zone alongside the date and reserve display.
Choose the SPB363 for a smaller, thinner time-and-date watch
The SPB363 uses the 6R35 and presents the time and date without the SPB361’s dual-time hand or power-reserve indication. It is 2.9 mm narrower, 2.0 mm shorter lug-to-lug, and 2.6 mm thinner than the SPB361 on Seiko’s stated dimensions. Seiko also lists its reserve at approximately 70 hours, compared with approximately 45 hours for the SPB361.

- Seiko Presage Cocktail Time U.S. Special Creation
- Special creation celebrating craft beer cocktails
- Fine mechanical watchmaking from Japan
- Automatic with manual winding capability
- Inspired by the Beer Julep cocktail, the gloss-finish gold dial is vertically gradated to suggest the sparkling hues of a fresh pour, while the pressed pattern evokes its bubbling effervescence
Shared dial and case design
Seiko describes both editions as inspired by akebono, the transition from night to dawn. The dial’s bright center fades toward a darker edge, while pink-gold hands and indexes are intended to suggest morning light. Its repeating asanoha pattern is a traditional Japanese hemp-leaf motif. Seiko says the pattern is created by height variations in a 0.4 mm metal plate, which reflect light in different directions; that construction and symbolism are the manufacturer’s description.
Both watches have black hard-coated stainless-steel cases and bracelets, sapphire crystals with inner anti-reflective coating, 20 mm lug widths, and 10 bar water resistance. Their casebacks are see-through and marked “Limited Edition” with a serial number. Seiko’s launch description says the cases use flat surfaces with alternating polished and hairline finishes.
What the limited-edition announcement does—and does not—tell you
Seiko announced 2,000 pieces of each model and an original availability date of January 2023. Those are launch details, not evidence of current stock, remaining quantities, resale supply, or present-day scarcity. Seiko’s official pages establish the models and their specifications, but do not establish a current price or availability in a particular market.
The listed accuracy range of +25 to −15 seconds per day is a manufacturer specification, not a guarantee of how an individual watch will perform in everyday wear.
