Sinn 103 Sa G: A Green, Limited-Edition Take on the 103 Pilot Chronograph

The Sinn 103 Sa G pairs a shimmering green dial and bezel with the practical 103 pilot-chronograph format. Here are its specifications, edition limit and historical launch prices.

The Sinn 103 Sa G gives the familiar 103 pilot chronograph a striking green makeover: a shimmering metallic-green dial meets a matching green anodized aluminum bezel. Announced in 2020 as a worldwide limited edition of 500 pieces, it is a notable color departure for Sinn—not a new 2026 release.

A green 103 with a changing look

The watch’s defining feature is its coordinated green treatment. Sinn’s launch description says the metallic dial changes its appearance with the light; the bidirectional pilot bezel is green anodized aluminum, with a luminous marker. The day and date displays match the dial’s green color scheme. The effect is more expressive than the restrained look often associated with Sinn, while keeping the practical, instrument-like layout of the 103.

Time+Tide’s 2020 introduction described the bezel as captive and noted the domed sapphire crystal’s vintage-like profile. Sinn’s announcement says the crystal is shaped from a 5 mm solid blank using five curvature radii. Those details give the watch a more sculpted silhouette than a flat-crystal chronograph.

What the 103 Sa G is built around

The 103 Sa G retains the 103’s pilot-chronograph character. Its automatic Concepto C99001 movement powers the time display, small seconds, chronograph, day and date. The bidirectional pilot bezel adds a luminous marker. Sinn-attributed specifications list 25 jewels, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, stop-seconds and a 48-hour power reserve.

How limited was the edition?

Sinn’s 2020 announcement described the model as a worldwide limited edition of 500 pieces. That establishes the original production limit, not whether a particular example is available today. When assessing a listing, check the exact reference, configuration, condition, provenance and seller documentation rather than assuming every watch advertised as a 103 Sa G is an original example of this edition.

Launch prices are not current valuations

Contemporary launch coverage reported different prices by market and configuration. Time+Tide reported €2,690 in 2020. Sinn-attributed Japanese launch material listed ¥528,000 for a leather or canvas-leather strap and ¥561,000 for a bracelet. These are historical, geographically specific launch prices—not current market guidance, a present-day Sinn price, or evidence of current stock.
