Squale presented the watch as a collaboration with the Palombari, a unit specialized in underwater operations for the Italian Navy. The brand describes it as its first watch made entirely from Grade 5 titanium. Squale’s profile places the Palombari within COMSUBIN, which it expands as the Divers and Raiders Group Command “Teseo Tesei.” The brand describes two sections: the Operational Divers Group (G.O.S.) and the Operational Raiders Group (G.O.I.). Its profile says the Palombari School was founded in Genoa in 1849, moved to Fortezza del Varignano in 1910, and offers training lasting about a year. How many were made, and what are the design details?
Squale reports a run of 500 watches. It says the first 80 were reserved for Comsubin divers and the other 420 were made available for public sale. These are launch-era edition figures, not a count of current stock. Squale: Master × Palombari Comsubin
The brand says the blue dial and bezel draw on shades of the divers’ uniform, and the Palombari logo at six o’clock identifies the unit connection. Squale describes two supplied straps: a rubber strap suited to diving and a second strap made from the same fabric as the divers’ camouflage uniform, requested for comfort out of the water. Is the Squale Master × Palombari Comsubin still available?
Squale’s product page currently labels the watch “product not available.” The page displayed US$2,000 excluding VAT in a United States checkout context, but a displayed price is not a purchasable offer while the model is marked unavailable. Stock at another retailer is not established by Squale’s listing, so confirm any seller’s live inventory, taxes, and import costs before buying.
The product page also names a “Master Titanium Bracelet – 20mm” as a compatible strap option, and lists the watch’s lug width as 20 mm. For other straps, matching width alone does not establish end-link fit, clearance, or clasp compatibility. Official product page
