What is the Tudor Black Bay Chrono Carbon 25?
Reference 79377KN is a special Black Bay Chrono with Racing Bulls-inspired details and a production run of 2,025 individually numbered watches. Tudor’s product documentation gives the retailer-style reference as M79377KN-0001. The “25” nods to the 2025 season; it is not a claim that the watch was made in 25 pieces.
The watch keeps the Black Bay Chrono’s two-register layout, with a date window at 6 o’clock, but gives it a distinct racing treatment. The domed “Racing white” dial has luminous black counters; launch coverage also notes blue accents and carbon-fibre subdials. A domed sapphire crystal covers the dial.
What is it made of?
The redesigned 42 mm case and fixed, one-piece tachymetric bezel are carbon fibre. The screw-down crown, screw-down pushers at 2 and 4 o’clock, and caseback are PVD-finished titanium. That means the watch is not all carbon fibre: the external components combine carbon fibre and titanium.

The hybrid leather-and-rubber strap has a tire-pattern surface, with carbon end-links described in launch coverage. The construction gives the watch a motorsport cue without making the strap itself a solid carbon component.

The MT5813 pairs an automatic winding system with a column-wheel chronograph, and its approximately 70-hour reserve means it can sit unworn through a weekend and still be running, depending on how fully wound it was. The 200 m rating gives the watch substantial water resistance, but it does not replace following Tudor’s guidance on operating the screw-down crown and pushers.

How many Carbon 25 watches were made?
Tudor limited the Carbon 25 to 2,025 pieces worldwide, with each watch individually numbered. That fixed edition distinguishes it from regular-production Black Bay Chrono references; it does not establish how many are available at any particular retailer or market.
Price and availability
Pricing varies by market and tax treatment. Tudor’s 2025 product documentation lists CHF 6,800 including Swiss VAT. Hodinkee reported a US price of $7,575 in 2025. These are market-specific reference prices, not a guarantee of current retailer stock or secondary-market value. Allocation and availability can change.

How it differs from the standard Black Bay Chrono
The standard Black Bay Chrono is a useful point of comparison, but exact dimensions and prices depend on reference and market. Hodinkee reports the Carbon 25 at 42 mm in diameter and 14.3 mm thick, versus 41 mm and 14.4 mm for the steel model. Tudor’s standard-model page lists a 41 mm steel case and approximately 70 hours of power reserve.

The material and edition are the main distinctions: the Carbon 25 replaces the steel construction with carbon fibre and adds a fixed production limit, while the reported thickness is fractionally lower despite the larger diameter. Can you change the strap?
The Carbon 25 is supplied on its hybrid leather-rubber strap. A replacement should be chosen specifically for a 42 mm Black Bay Chrono and checked for lug width, end-link shape and clasp compatibility before purchase. A strap advertised simply as “Tudor” or “Black Bay” is not proof of fit; verify the dimensions and attachment design for reference 79377KN.
