The Ulysse Nardin Freak X Enamel Seddiqi pairs the Freak X’s rotating time display with a guilloché hour disc finished in Yas Blue enamel. The 43 mm titanium watch was reported at launch as a 30-piece edition made for UAE retailer Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons.
What is the Freak X Enamel Seddiqi?
It is a limited-edition version of Ulysse Nardin’s Freak X, reference 2303-270LE-3AE-SED/3A. Its defining visual feature is the blue enamelled hour disc beneath the rotating movement assembly. The launch-era reporting identifies Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons as the exclusive retailer in the UAE.
The case is titanium, with a grey finish, a 43 mm diameter and a reported overall height of 13.78 mm. It has a sapphire crystal and 50 m water resistance, making it suitable for everyday splashes but not a watch to treat as a dedicated swimming or diving model. SJX Watches’ 2024 launch report lists these dimensions and specifications.
How does the Freak X display the time?
The Freak X does not use a conventional fixed dial with ordinary hour and minute hands. Its movement’s carousel turns once each hour and serves as the minute indicator. The hour is shown by a pointer carried on the rotating hour disc. In short, the carousel indicates minutes; the pointer on the disc indicates hours.

The automatic UN-230 calibre is reported with a 72-hour power reserve and a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour. Monochrome Watches’ introduction describes the display and movement, while SJX Watches reports the reserve.
What makes the hour disc distinctive?
The hour disc is described in launch coverage as a guilloché gold plate coated in Yas Blue enamel. The guilloché pattern gives the surface texture beneath the enamel, while the rich blue finish adds contrast to the moving carousel above it.
