Its military connection is a design and collaboration story: YEMA says it also made more than a hundred separately engraved and personalized watches exclusively for unit members, but the general-public model should not be described as issued operational equipment.
What is the YEMA Flygraf CPA10?
YEMA presents the Flygraf CPA10 as a reinterpretation of a military aviation watch, drawing on the Type A Flieger layout and developed with CPA10. The company calls it the “official watch of the French Air Force and the CPA10.” That description sits alongside YEMA’s distinction between the public model and the individually engraved watches made exclusively for unit members; it does not establish that the public version is issued kit.
The collaboration gives the watch its specific identity: a blue dial with CPA10 markings, a pilot-watch-inspired display, and a canvas strap carrying the unit reference. All specifications in the table are YEMA’s published product details. The brand advertises chronometric performance of −3/+5 seconds per day and says the CMM.10 is designed, manufactured, assembled, and calibrated in its Morteau workshops. These are manufacturer claims, not independently reported test results.

What the dimensions and materials mean for choosing it
The 40 mm diameter is only one part of how the watch will sit on a wrist. YEMA lists a 46 mm lug-to-lug length and 9.40 mm thickness, useful figures to compare against a watch that already fits comfortably. Grade 2 titanium is the stated case material; the specification alone does not establish how the watch will feel to a particular wearer.
The 20 mm lug width gives a standard measurement to use when considering replacement straps. Before ordering one, check the end shape and fit at the case as well as the width, since width alone does not guarantee a flush fit.

How to read the movement and water-resistance claims
The CMM.10 is an automatic movement, with YEMA listing a 70-hour power reserve and 28,800 A/h beat rate. The reserve is the manufacturer’s stated duration when fully wound; it is not a guarantee of identical running time in every wearing pattern. YEMA’s −3/+5 seconds-per-day figure is likewise an advertised performance specification rather than a result established here by independent measurement.
YEMA rates the watch at 10 BAR / 100 m / 330 feet. That is the maker’s water-resistance specification; the rating by itself does not establish suitability for a particular water activity or replace the manufacturer’s use and care guidance.

Price and availability
Monochrome Watches reported a retail price of EUR 1,690 in its introduction. That is a publication-era figure, not a confirmed current price.
