Casio’s US listing is for the related GWG-B1000-1A—not the 1A3—so buyers should check the precise reference before treating a listing as a US release.
What is confirmed about US availability?
Casio lists the exact GWG-B1000-1A3 on its international product page and its European product page. The Casio US page identified for the family is for the GWG-B1000-1A, a different colorway and model reference: Casio US GWG-B1000-1A.

That distinction matters: a US page for a related watch does not establish that the 1A3 is officially sold in the United States. No verified US launch date, price, or authorized US inventory for the exact GWG-B1000-1A3 is established by these listings.

Why is the model being associated with a launch?
Casio announced the GWG-B1000 family on September 28, 2023, describing its mud- and dust-resistant construction, metal exterior components, Triple Sensor, solar charging, radio-wave reception, and smartphone connectivity. That is the family announcement date, not a confirmed US launch date for the 1A3 colorway. Casio’s GWG-B1000 family announcement

What the GWG-B1000-1A3 offers
Casio describes the 1A3 as a tactical-inspired MUDMASTER colorway, with tan accents inspired by tactical equipment, a black textured exterior, and a matte olive-green urethane band. “Tactical-inspired” describes the design; it is not evidence of military certification, issue, or endorsement.

How to check a listing before buying
- Match the full reference. Look for GWG-B1000-1A3, not GWG-B1000-1A or another family variant. A similar name does not mean the same colorway or market listing.
- Check the seller and region. A product page or offer in another region is not proof of authorized US distribution or US warranty coverage. Confirm those details with the seller or Casio before purchase.
- Verify the price and stock for the exact reference. No US price or authorized US stock for the 1A3 is established here; do not infer either from another variant, another currency, or the Japan-market report.
How it differs from the US-listed GWG-B1000-1A
The confirmed distinction in the cited pages is the reference: Casio’s US page is for the GWG-B1000-1A, while the exact olive-and-tan 1A3 appears on Casio’s international and European pages. The available information does not establish hands-on performance differences between the variants. For a meaningful comparison, verify the full model reference and region first, then compare the official specification pages for materials, dimensions, weight, resistance claims, sensor functions, and timekeeping features.
