Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe Pixel Watch 5 is worth considering if you use a compatible Android phone, like the fit of one of its two sizes and are comfortable charging regularly. In the US, Google Store prices start at $399.99 for the 41mm Wi-Fi/Bluetooth model and $429.99 for the 45mm version; LTE costs more. Health membership and cellular service may add to the total, so choose a configuration only after checking the features and connectivity you actually need.
Who should buy the Pixel Watch 5?
It is a plausible choice for an Android phone owner who wants Google’s smartwatch and health features and is comfortable with regular charging. Its value depends on fit, phone compatibility, whether you need LTE, and whether the health features you want require a paid membership. There is no universal yes: those factors can change the cost and convenience substantially.

A September 2026 TechRadar review judged it a strong Android-native option while noting that the cost of Google Health Premium can affect its value. That is a reviewer’s assessment, not a guarantee that it is the best choice for every buyer.
Will it work with your phone?
Google says the watch works with most phones running Android 12.0 or newer. Setup requires a Google Account and the Google Pixel Watch app. “Most” does not mean every Android phone, and the stated compatibility does not include iPhone support. Check Google’s compatibility guidance and whether the features you want are available in your region before buying.

Which size and band fit your wrist?
Choose by wrist circumference and the band’s sizing details, rather than assuming the larger case will feel more comfortable. Google’s US configurator lists these wrist-fit ranges:
| Case size | Listed wrist fit | Display and fit consideration |
|---|---|---|
| 41mm | 130–210mm | Smaller case; fit range overlaps substantially with the 45mm model. |
| 45mm | 150–215mm | Larger display; check the band’s precise sizing if your wrist is near either limit. |
These fit figures are from Google’s US configurator and are not a promise that a particular band will suit every wrist. Google’s technical information breaks the included bands into small and large sizing, so review the band-specific details before ordering. A compatible band is an optional way to change fit or style.

Wi-Fi/Bluetooth or LTE?
Wi-Fi/Bluetooth is the lower-priced option if you expect to keep your phone nearby. LTE is for staying connected away from the phone, but it costs more and requires service; the watch’s cellular capability alone does not establish that service will be free or available on every carrier.
For eligible US LTE purchases, Google’s configurator advertises two years of Google Fi data. The offer is limited to US residents shipping to a US address, requires the buyer to be at least 18, is limited to one offer per purchase, and must be redeemed within 60 days after setup. Check the current offer terms, carrier support and activation requirements. The offer does not establish what service will cost after two years.

- Cardio load measures how hard your heart works so you can see how hard you’ve pushed; compare trends to see if you’re under- or over-training[3]
What does it cost upfront and over time?
The following are Google Store US listed prices checked on October 12, 2026. Prices, offers, taxes and stock can change.
| Configuration | US listed price |
|---|---|
| 41mm Wi-Fi/Bluetooth | From $399.99 |
| 45mm Wi-Fi/Bluetooth | From $429.99 |
| 41mm LTE | $499.99 |

| 45mm Stephen Curry Special Edition | $579.99 |
Some features require the Google Health app and/or Google Health Premium, according to Google’s 2026 launch announcement; this does not mean every health feature requires a membership. TechRadar’s September 2026 review reported a US Premium price of $9.99 per month. That is a dated review-reported price, not a current tariff confirmed by Google here. Check Google’s live membership terms and identify whether your desired features require Premium before calculating your ongoing cost.

For LTE, account separately for any carrier service after the two-year US offer, if you qualify. The available offer information does not establish a general recurring carrier price.

Google rates battery life at up to 30 hours for the 41mm model and up to 40 hours for the 45mm model with always-on display enabled. With Battery Saver, Google’s ratings are up to 48 hours and 72 hours, respectively. These are manufacturer ratings, not guaranteed real-world runtimes; Google cautions that usage and network conditions affect battery life.
The Quick Charge Dock is included, so a spare is optional rather than a required extra. Google says 15 minutes of charging provides up to 15 hours of battery life, and charging from empty to 80% takes 20 minutes. The dock’s USB-C adapter is not included as an accessory, so make sure you have a compatible adapter. See Google’s battery and charging guidance and technical specifications.
Is it a worthwhile upgrade from an older watch?
That depends on what your current watch fails to do and what the Pixel Watch 5 would add for you. The material available here does not establish a complete feature-by-feature comparison or current competing prices, so it cannot support a blanket recommendation to upgrade from a Pixel Watch 4 or any other recent watch. Before replacing a working watch, compare your actual needs: case and band fit, LTE independence, desired health features and membership requirements, and how often you are willing to charge.
