Which Q Timex 1975 does the $305 title mean?
The title points to the analog watch described by David Smiedt in Time+Tide Watches on 23 September 2021. The article reported an asking price of $305 at that time. It is a dated price, not evidence of what the analog model costs now or whether it is currently available.
There is also a newer watch with a similar name: Timex’s Q Timex 1975 SSQ Digital Reissue, reference TW2Y06100. Timex announced that digital model in October 2025. Its specifications and prices should not be attributed to the 2021 analog watch.

Timex’s announcement for the SSQ Digital Reissue describes its functional, no-frills design. The official Timex US listing gives the digital model’s price and specifications; the Timex EU listing shows its regional price. Is $305 a bargain today?
There is not enough current price evidence here to call $305 a bargain for the analog reissue today. The figure is a 2021 asking price, and a current market-wide price range for that model is not established. If you are evaluating an analog Q Timex 1975 listing, verify that it is the day/date quartz model with a leather strap—not the SSQ Digital Reissue—and compare current offers for the exact analog watch. For TW2Y06100 specifically, Timex lists a CR2016 battery and 50 m water resistance. Timex’s guidance says it is suitable for light swimming, but not snorkeling or poolside diving; do not press its buttons underwater.
