What is the August Berg Strawberry Thief watch?
It is a collaboration between August Berg and Morris & Co, described in the 2021 review as involving the estate of British artist William “Topsy” Morris. The design places a thrush against a midnight-blue background on the lower half of the dial—a literal way to put a bird on a watch, rather than a general bird motif.
Time+Tide Watches describes a surgical-grade stainless-steel case with a rose-gold finish, a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective and scratch-resistant properties, and a Japanese quartz movement. The reported case depth is 7 mm. Those specifications are from the October 2021 review and have not been independently reverified as current product details.
Which size should you choose?
The review reports 30 mm and 38 mm versions. Diameter is the clearest distinction it establishes; it does not give lug width or detailed wrist-fit measurements. Use case diameter as a starting point, then check the live listing for the exact variant and its measurements before buying.

The review mentions olive and dusky-pink dial/strap color schemes but does not map each color to a specific size or establish which versions are currently sold. Confirm the pictured dial and strap match the selected SKU.
Can you change the strap?
According to the review, the watch uses woven nylon Perlon straps that can be interchanged. It does not state the strap width or confirm compatibility with third-party straps, so check the attachment type and exact width before ordering a replacement.

It also reported that sales reaching 20,000 would result in an entire school being built. These are claims reported by the article at that time; it does not establish whether the program, terms, or sales target remain in effect.
