IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team driver George Russell introduced two limited-edition Pilot’s Watches on 5 February 2026: the 41 mm Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 George Russell (IW328107) and the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 George Russell (IW389411), with a 41.9 mm case. Both pair black ceramic with blue details inspired, according to IWC, by Russell’s helmet and signature color.
What are the two George Russell IWC watches?
The release comprises an automatic timepiece and a chronograph. IWC’s official announcement gives their names, references, movements, power reserves and case diameters.
| Model | Reference | Function and movement | Stated power reserve | Case diameter | Thickness |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pilot’s Watch Automatic 41 George Russell | IW328107 | Automatic; IWC-manufactured calibre 32112 with double-pawl winding system | 120 hours (IWC) | 41 mm (IWC) | 11.4 mm (T3 launch report) |
| Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 George Russell | IW389411 | Chronograph; IWC-manufactured calibre 69380 | 46 hours (IWC) | 41.9 mm (IWC) | 15.5 mm (T3 launch report) |
For the official specifications, see IWC’s 5 February 2026 announcement. The thickness figures come from T3’s dated launch coverage, rather than the IWC release.
How do the automatic and chronograph differ?
Automatic: IW328107
The automatic is the simpler of the two in function and the smaller by case diameter. Its calibre 32112 uses IWC’s double-pawl winding system, and the manufacturer states a 120-hour power reserve. That is 74 hours longer than the chronograph’s stated reserve.

The chronograph adds stopwatch functionality and uses IWC-manufactured calibre 69380. IWC states a 46-hour power reserve. Its case diameter is 41.9 mm, compared with 41 mm for the automatic; T3’s launch report also lists the chronograph as thicker.
What design details do they share?
Both watches use black zirconium oxide ceramic cases, black dials, blue printed details and blue Super-LumiNova. Each has a titanium case back engraved with Russell’s starting number, “63,” and a blue rubber strap fitted with IWC’s EasX-CHANGE system. IWC describes ceramic as lighter than steel and highly scratch-resistant.

The automatic has a Ceratanium crown. On the chronograph, the crown and pushers are Ceratanium, which IWC describes as combining titanium’s lightness with hardness and scratch resistance similar to ceramic. IWC says the blue accents reflect the blue-dominant design of Russell’s helmet and his signature color.
How limited are they, and what were the launch prices?
IWC’s release confirms that both are limited editions but does not state their production counts or prices. T3 reported on 5 February 2026 that the chronograph was limited to 1,063 pieces, with a UK launch price of £10,100, and that the automatic launched in the UK at £7,300. These are dated secondary launch figures, not confirmation of current prices, stock or prices in other regions.
