The complete set paired the watch with a 1:64-scale Hot Wheels Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Racing Works model, packed with the watch in a metal toolbox. Mattel describes miniature details including opening gullwing doors, a detailed interior, racing graphics and the number 68.
The edition was limited to 50 sets. WatchTime reported that the first set was designated for a charity auction benefiting Two Bit Circus Foundation, with the other 49 offered at $10,000 each. That figure describes the launch-era offer for those sets, not a current market price.
Launch price and availability today
Monochrome reported a launch price of CHF 10,900 for the set. WatchTime reported the $10,000 price for each of the 49 sets following the charity-auction set. These are historical launch reports in different currencies, not directly comparable current valuations.

The Watch Pages says the watch is no longer in IWC’s current collection. That does not establish whether a particular example is available from a dealer or on the resale market, and the sources here do not establish current asking prices or inventory. Treat listings for ordinary 1:64 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL models separately: they do not by themselves establish that the model is the limited Racing Works version from this 50-set collaboration.
