What is the Reverso Tribute Duoface Fagliano?
For the 2025 blue Q3988481 and black Q398847J, “Duoface” describes a watch with a dial on each side of the reversible case. One manually wound movement powers both displays. The front shows hours, minutes and small seconds; the reverse shows a second time zone with a 24-hour day/night indication. “Fagliano” refers to Casa Fagliano, an Argentina-based maker specializing in polo and riding boots. For these two 2025 references, Casa Fagliano designed the paired straps; it is a strap-design collaborator, not the watch manufacturer. The brand describes one strap as leather-and-canvas, inspired by Fagliano’s summer polo boots, and the other as calf leather.
How do you set the second time zone?
The controls divide the adjustment between the crown and a small slider in the upper case band. Jaeger-LeCoultre says the crown adjusts the minutes on both dials and the front hour; the slider adjusts the second-zone hour. The European-listed Q3908410 is another Reverso Tribute Duoface, but it is a smaller, classically proportioned variant—not a 47 mm 2025 blue or black Small Seconds model. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s European page gives dimensions of 42.9 × 25.5 mm and 9.23 mm thickness, and describes a silvered opaline front with a blue reverse and a Casa Fagliano strap set. Movement, reserve and water resistance
Both 2025 references use manually wound Calibre 854, with a stated 42-hour power reserve. The figures are manufacturer specifications, not independent performance results. Jaeger-LeCoultre lists water resistance at 3 bar; that rating should not be taken as a recommendation for swimming or water sports. The press specifications give the reserve and water-resistance rating, while the US product page for Q3988481 identifies the manual Calibre 854.
