What makes the Red Horizon distinctive?
In his December 22, 2014 aBlogtoWatch review, Ariel Adams describes a 44 mm case that pairs PVD-coated black or deep-gray titanium with colored anodized aluminum. Red aluminum appears around the bezel or flange, on the caseback and on the inner side of the strap.
The case’s smooth, rounded contours give it a pebble-like profile. A bowl-shaped crown carries a Swiss cross symbol. The dial is the most unusual element: its artwork depicts trees, grass, deer and horses, drawing on Swiss paper-cutting imagery. The review says the name “Red Horizon” refers to sunsets in the Swiss Alps and describes the hands as intended to evoke scissors. These are design explanations reported by the review, not independently verified historical findings.

What did the reviewer think of the watch?
Adams viewed the case shape favorably and said the titanium made the watch feel light for its size. He found the dial unusual but still legible, while judging that the individual design elements were not all especially memorable. That is the reviewer’s assessment, not a new hands-on evaluation.
The 44 mm diameter and highly distinctive dial are the main personal-fit considerations: the watch’s visual character may appeal to someone seeking something unconventional, but the size and artwork will not suit every wrist or taste. The review also names three related color versions: Chronograph Club 100 in black and gold, Chronograph Belvedere in black and green, and Chronograph Blazing Sun in black and yellow.

A Ricardo search result displayed a listing under the name “Michel Jordi Swiss Icon Red Horizon 44m.” That result is only a marketplace signal; it does not establish that a listing is still live, that it is the same exact reference, or that it reflects a reliable current price.
