Junghans’s instruction manual lists calibres J800.2 and J800.3 for the Meister Kalender family. For reference 027/4200.00, the archived catalogue specifies the J800.3 and describes it as based on the ETA 2824-2 with a Dubois Depraz 9310 module. That is useful movement context, but it is an archived specification, not an independent inspection of an individual watch.
The manual gives the listed calibre family 25 jewels, 28,800 semi-vibrations per hour and approximately 38 hours of power reserve. A retailer’s specification table for variant 027/4200.01 states 40 hours. These are source- and variant-specific stated figures, not a measured reserve for every example.

Junghans’s manual says a 3 bar marking is suitable for washing, rain and splashes, but not showering, bathing or swimming. Its 5 bar guidance permits bathing but not swimming. The manual also cautions that the rating applies to brand-new watches and that external influences can affect water resistance. Check the marking on the specific watch and its condition rather than treating either variant’s figure as a general swimming recommendation.
How do you set the calendar and moon phase?
The manual shows separate correctors for the day, moon phase, month and date. Its key warning is: “No corrections to date, moon phase, day or month may be made during the changeover period from 3pm to 2am.” Do not use those correctors during that window; follow the instructions for the relevant calibre and watch reference for the complete setting sequence.
