The Laurent Ferrier Classic Traveller Globe Night Blue is a 41 mm white-gold dual-time watch distinguished by a convex blue-enamel globe dial, miniature-painted city lights and a practical local-time adjustment system. Its reference is LCF012.G1.NGE10. Laurent Ferrier presents the 2025 version as a 15th-anniversary reworking that gives the 2016 Globe Night Blue a second life; Hodinkee reported it as a standard-catalog model rather than a limited edition.
What makes the Globe Night Blue distinctive?
The defining feature is its globe-inspired centre. A convex planisphere in 18k 210 Pd white gold represents the Earth, with blue champlevé enamel across the continents. Enamelled-gold details, applied by miniature painting, depict city lights after dark. Laurent Ferrier says the central section requires more than five firing stages.
This changes the treatment of the original 2016 Globe Night Blue: the 2025 dial replaces its engraved approach with miniature painting. Around the globe is a slate-grey, circular satin-brushed hour ring, with white-gold drop-shaped indices and Assegai-shaped hour and minute hands. The result combines a detailed centre with a more restrained, legible ring for reading the time.
How does the dual-time function work?
The central hour hand indicates local time. Two pushers on the left side of the case move that hand forward or backward in one-hour increments, without disturbing the minute hand. This lets the wearer change local time while travelling and keep the minutes set.

What is inside the LF230.02?
The LF230.02 is an automatic movement with an off-centred 18k solid-gold micro-rotor and pawl-fitted unidirectional winding. Its natural escapement delivers a double direct impulse to the balance. The movement also uses a silicon pallet lever and LIGA-produced escape wheels in phosphorous nickel alloy.
Laurent Ferrier specifies a 72-hour power reserve at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, or 3 Hz. Those are the manufacturer’s published figures for this model. The movement measures 31.60 mm across and 5.80 mm thick, and contains 288 components and 44 jewels.

The live listing was accessed on October 7, 2026; pricing can change, so confirm the amount directly with the brand. February 2025 launch coverage reported CHF 90,000 excluding taxes. That earlier figure is a dated launch price, not the current manufacturer listing.

Hodinkee described the Globe Night Blue as a standard-catalog model when reporting its February 2025 launch. Laurent Ferrier frames the release as part of its 15th-anniversary year and as a new version of the 2016 watch. The cited product information does not specify a production quantity.

Is the Globe Night Blue suitable for everyday wear?
The 41 mm white-gold case, 12.64 mm thickness and leather strap give it a substantial, formal-luxury profile. Its 30 m / 3 ATM water resistance is modest, so it should not be treated as a watch for swimming or water sports. The one-hour local-time adjustment and separate reference-time display are practical for travel, while the enamelled globe makes the dial the main attraction rather than a conventional, minimal time display.
For the current specification and price, consult the official product page. Laurent Ferrier’s launch article describes the dial-making process and time-zone operation.
