The Le Jour Delmare is a Swiss-made automatic dive-watch family with angular, cushion-style case lines, colorful sunburst fumé dials and contemporary diver specifications. For the LJ-DM-001 reference, a retailer lists a 41 mm steel case, Sellita SW200 movement and 200 m water resistance. The shape and 13 mm thickness are as important to fit as the headline diameter, while prices and stock need to be checked against a current listing.
What is the Le Jour Delmare?
The Delmare is Le Jour’s vintage-inspired automatic diver, drawing on the angular watch designs of the 1970s. Its case has a rigid, hooded or cushion-like profile rather than the familiar round-sided look of many dive watches. Dial colors and accents vary by configuration; coverage at launch described options including black, blue, green, grey and brown, with rose-gold accents on some versions. That launch-era selection is not a confirmed current lineup.
Time+Tide’s January 2023 coverage highlights the angular case and sunburst fumé dial colors, while Worn & Wound’s January 2023 launch article describes eight variants at the time. Treat those colors and counts as historical descriptions, not a guarantee of what is available now.

How the Delmare may fit on the wrist
A 41 mm diameter puts the LJ-DM-001 in a familiar modern-diver range, but the reported 48 mm lug-to-lug dimension and squared-off case shape will affect how it wears. Compare those measurements with a watch you already find comfortable, and consider the case’s angular stance as well as its diameter. At 13 mm including the crystal, it is not especially thin; check whether that height works with shirt cuffs or your preferred everyday wear.
The 22 mm lug width gives you the option of looking beyond a supplied bracelet or strap, but do not assume every 22 mm strap will attach or sit correctly. Confirm the exact reference’s lug or end-link arrangement and replacement-strap fit before buying an accessory.

Movement, water resistance and everyday use
The cited LJ-DM-001 listing specifies a Sellita SW200 automatic movement with a date display. Time+Tide reports an approximately 38-hour power reserve for the Delmare. If you rotate among several watches, that reserve is a practical consideration: after sitting unworn for longer than its reserve, an automatic watch will need to be reset and wound before use.
The published 200 m water-resistance rating is a specification, not evidence of independent testing or a guarantee for a particular activity. Check the manufacturer’s guidance and the condition of the individual watch before exposing it to water; water resistance can depend on seals and maintenance as well as the stated rating.
