The Heritage Chronograph Linéaire is Lebois & Co’s modern return to the historical “LEBOIS & CIE” dial signature. The company says that name last appeared on a rare 1950s watch, which inspired the new model. Linéaire belongs to a broader Heritage Chronograph family that began as a 2021 project drawing on 1930s and 1940s designs—but this particular version looks to a later reference.
What makes the Linéaire a return to Lebois & Co’s roots?
The defining link is the dial signature. Lebois & Co describes Linéaire as the first modern return of “LEBOIS & CIE,” last seen on a rare 1950s reference. The brand says Berlin vintage retailer Shuck the Oyster discovered the watch that inspired the family. CEO Tom van Wijlick put the idea this way: “With Linéaire we honour our roots. The original 1950s ‘Lebois & Cie’ signature returns to the dial exactly as it once appeared. The visible design cues include a vertically brushed dial, gold-toned linear Arabic numerals and syringe hands. The champagne-silver model pairs these with blued hands and a blue strap; the blue-dial version takes a more contemporary color approach while retaining the brushed finish and numerals. The brand also describes a Base 1000 tachymeter and a 30-minute counter with three-minute divisions, which it says recall the timing of long-distance telephone calls. How the Linéaire fits into the Heritage Chronograph story
The name “Heritage Chronograph” covers a longer-running collection, not just the new Linéaire. Lebois & Co says Tom van Wijlick contacted the Dodane family in France and received approval to revive the brand in 2014, 80 years after its 1934 founding. In 2021, the company launched its first CoLAB project: the Heritage Chronograph, shaped with enthusiast input and inspired by vintage Lebois watches from the 1930s and 1940s. Linéaire therefore combines the broader collection’s earlier design lineage with a more specific 1950s inspiration and the return of the “LEBOIS & CIE” signature. It is not simply a reissue of the original watch: it is a present-day Heritage Chronograph expression that revives its name on the dial.

What do the price and delivery listing say?
At the time reflected by the product-page wording, Lebois & Co listed each reference at €3,300, said the inaugural batch had sold out and production had commenced, and expected first deliveries from September 2026. The listings offered registration of interest for a subsequent batch. Price, stock and delivery estimates can change, so check the official pages for the live status before making a purchase decision.

What an earlier Heritage Chronograph review can—and cannot—tell you
Fratello’s August 3, 2023 hands-on article covers an earlier Heritage Chronograph, reference 324.497, not either Linéaire reference. Reviewer Robert-Jan Broer said its 39 mm case and 47.35 mm lug-to-lug wore comfortably on his 18.5 cm wrist. He also commented on legibility and finishing, and described the start/stop pusher as soft to operate while the reset required more force. The distinction matters mechanically as well as chronologically: Fratello identifies the 324.497’s movement as the LC-430, while Lebois & Co lists the newer Linéaire with an LC-450. The earlier review offers context for the collection, but it cannot establish how the new references feel on the wrist or operate.

Choosing a strap or checking fit
The manufacturer lists a 20 mm lug width, so 20 mm is the nominal width to look for if considering another strap. Lug width alone does not confirm that a particular aftermarket strap’s end shape or thickness will fit the case cleanly. Confirm the strap’s fit and attachment details before ordering.
