Collection background
Longines describes Flagship as an emblematic line dating to the late 1950s and says it was among the brand’s first collections. The caravel on the screw-down case back continues that collection identity: Longines says the emblem is hand-painted enamel on an 18-carat gold medallion.
In a media announcement dated 12 July 2023, Longines wrote: “In 2023, the winged hourglass brand is adding three new versions to its FLAGSHIP HERITAGE line, each equipped with a moon-phase complication.” The announcement provides the launch context for this moonphase branch of the heritage collection.
