What is distinctive about the Legend Diver design?
The collection draws on Longines’ 1959 diving-watch design. Its defining details are two crowns and an internal rotating bezel: the upper crown operates the bezel, which sits beneath the crystal rather than outside the case. Longines says this placement helps protect it from accidental manipulation and shocks; that is the brand’s description of the design, not an independent test result. What do the official product pages specify?
Specifications vary by reference, so the color alone is not enough to identify the exact configuration. Two US product examples illustrate the differences in included straps:

Longines’ 2024 announcement described the expanded models as water-resistant to 30 bar (300 m), COSC chronometer-certified and certified as divers’ watches under ISO 6425. Those are claims in that release; consult the documentation for a specific reference rather than assuming every current configuration carries identical specifications or certification.

When accessed in 2026, Longines’ US pages displayed $3,500 for black reference L3.764.4.50.0 and green reference L3.764.4.06.9. These are market- and time-specific listed prices, not a guarantee of current price or availability. Longines’ Swiss collection page displayed CHF 2,900 for a 39 mm Legend Diver; that Swiss-market figure is separate and should not be treated as a US price or converted into a current US estimate.

How to choose between the color variants
- Start with the dial and finish: the 2024 green, terracotta and anthracite grey options are described as polished lacquered dials; the 2025 white version is matt.
- Compare the exact reference: check the case, movement specifications and water resistance on that product page, rather than inferring them from another color.
- Check what is included: official listings show leather, rubber and stainless-steel pairings across the range. Do not assume an aftermarket or replacement strap fits every reference; verify compatibility.
- Use your regional listing: price, stock and available configurations differ by market and can change over time.
