Its compact dimensions and three dial options make it a distinct alternative to larger chronographs, but the official product page shows conflicting inventory labels, so check availability for the exact reference before ordering.
What the Lorca Model No.2 Chronograph is
Lorca describes the Model No.2 as a compact chronograph with mid-century-inspired design. Hodinkee similarly called it “a chronograph with mid-century vibes” in its coverage of the New York brand’s follow-up model. That is editorial characterization, not a technical assessment.
The watch combines a manually wound Sellita SW510 M chronograph movement with a rotating 12-hour bezel. The maker lists three dial references, a steel bracelet and 100 m water resistance. The details below are Lorca’s published specifications rather than findings from an independent test.
Case size and wrist fit
The listed case diameter is 37 mm, increasing to 38 mm at the bezel. Lug-to-lug length is 46 mm, case thickness is 11.6 mm excluding the crystal, and overall thickness is 14.1 mm. Lug spacing is 20 mm.

Diameter alone does not determine how a watch wears. The 46 mm lug-to-lug measurement indicates the span across the wrist, while the 14.1 mm overall thickness includes the double-domed crystal. Comparing those measurements with a watch you already find comfortable is more useful than relying on diameter alone.
Lorca lists a 5.5–7.75-inch (14–19.7 cm) wrist-fit range for the bracelet. It is a manufacturer-provided range, not a guarantee of fit for every wrist shape or preference.
Movement, winding and chronograph
The Model No.2 uses the manual-wind Sellita SW510 M, which Lorca describes as a cam-and-lever chronograph. Unlike an automatic watch, it requires winding by hand. Lorca states an accuracy of ±5 seconds per day and a 63-hour power reserve; these are manufacturer specifications, not independently measured performance results.
In a designer essay, Jesse Marchant, owner and designer of Lorca Watches, says the movement’s bridge plate has Côtes de Genève finishing and gold engraving. This finishing description, like the performance figures, comes from the manufacturer.

Bezel, materials and dial details
The bezel is a solid 316L stainless-steel component with polished guilloché, a bidirectional 12-hour scale and 120 clicks. The case and bracelet are also specified as brushed and polished 316L stainless steel. The crystal is double-domed sapphire with an inner anti-reflective coating, and the closed caseback screws in.
The dial has applied, beveled indexes with BGW9 Super-LumiNova. Lorca also specifies luminous treatment on the hands and bezel. The three listed dial references are:
- 8501-1: Satin Black.
- 8501-2: Silver Sun-Ray.
- 8501-3: Golden Gray Sun-Ray with silver sub-dials.
Bracelet and strap considerations
The supplied bracelet is a nine-row design that tapers from 20 mm to 16 mm. Lorca lists screw-in removable links and a ratcheting quick-adjust clasp. The 20 mm lug spacing makes a 20 mm strap a reasonable size to investigate, but the product information does not confirm compatibility with any particular third-party strap. Check the watch, spring bars and strap fit before buying an accessory.
Water resistance: what the rating establishes
Lorca lists water resistance as 10 ATM, or 100 m. That is the stated specification; it does not, by itself, establish that the watch is suitable for a particular water activity. Anyone choosing a watch for a specific use should confirm the manufacturer’s guidance for that activity and keep the watch’s condition and maintenance in mind.

Price, stock and purchase terms
Lorca lists the Model No.2 at $2,750 USD. Its product page has shown a general “SOLD OUT” notice alongside variant-specific labels: Golden Gray listed as in stock with 1–3 day shipping, and Silver and Black listed as preorder with shipping at the end of October 2026. Because those signals conflict and stock can change, confirm the selected reference and timing directly with Lorca before ordering.
Lorca states that the watch has a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from delivery. The company also advertises free expedited worldwide shipping and says international prices generally include VAT and import fees, while noting destination exceptions and special handling, including for Brazil, India and Canada. What to compare before choosing it
When comparing the Model No.2 with another chronograph, focus on the traits that affect daily use and ownership rather than the shared label “chronograph.”
