The original Green and Purple references are 85340AA01.BVA191 and 85340AA02.BVA192. Louis Erard later added Brown and Turquoise colorways. Each colorway is described as limited to 178 pieces.
How the regulator display works
A regulator dial separates the time into different displays instead of using a single set of hands. On the Unfrogettable, that separation gives the face its character. The brand’s description places the hours and seconds in separate counters, with minutes on the centre axis.

- Hours appear on a counter at 9 o’clock.
- Minutes are shown by the central hand.
- Seconds appear on a counter at 3 o’clock.
Because the hours and seconds sit in the two side counters, they read as the frog’s eyes. The minute hand reads as the central element of the face. The layout is the reason the watch is recognisable at a glance, and it is also the reason readability depends on getting used to a regulator display.
Specifications
The Green and Purple references share the same core case and movement details on Louis Erard’s official product pages. The Green model has the most complete published data, including dimensions and the strap description from the 2025 press release and product page. The table below separates what is documented for each reference from what the sources do not state.

The movement and case are the same at the level of the brand’s published data. The Purple page does not give the lug-to-lug, thickness, caseback, or jewel count, so readers who need those figures should check the model page directly.
Colorways, references and edition size
Louis Erard describes each Unfrogettable colorway as a separate limited edition of 178 pieces. The first two colorways carry published reference numbers. The Brown and Turquoise versions were introduced later, and the sources reviewed did not publish reference numbers for them.

Louis Erard’s own descriptions set the colour tone. Turquoise is described as “bright, electric,” and Brown as “warm, earthy and touched with gold.” These are brand descriptions rather than independent assessments of how the colours look in person.

The Green and Purple product pages show CHF 4,500 excluding tax. The 2025 press release gives the same figure as the recommended retail price excluding tax. The collection page lists the Brown and Turquoise colorways at the same figure.

Louis Erard’s announcement of the new colorways includes a statement attributed to Manuel Emch. The source does not state his role.
“The Unfrogettable has become an unmistakable character. You recognize it immediately: the eyes, the crown, the expression. That gave us the freedom to change its mood through color. Turquoise is bright, electric and slightly surreal. Brown is warmer, deeper and more nocturnal. The frog remains the same. Its personality does not.”
The statement describes the design intent. It is not a measurement or a performance claim.
