It is reference 3201BDX, an automatic 316L stainless-steel model with a deep burgundy, matte sunburst dial that Trilobe describes in wine vocabulary, and its hours, minutes and seconds are shown by rotating rings instead of conventional hands. Two terms need checking before you rely on them: the power reserve appears as both 42 and 48 hours in Trilobe’s own launch material, and the price differs between Trilobe’s product page and a WatchTime report.
What the watch is, and what the wine language means
Trilobe presents Château Trente-Deux as a new interpretation of its Trente-Deux watch collection. The brand is direct about the wine theme: its launch article, dated 2 September 2026, states “Trilobe has never bottled a single wine.” The wine references are design language and nothing more.
The “terroir” in the launch copy is not a vineyard. It refers to the Opéra district of Paris, near Place Vendôme and the Palais-Royal. The dial’s “robe” is its burgundy colour, which Trilobe says is matched to the hue of a great vintage. Sensory phrases about polished and brushed surfaces are promotional description of a watch’s finish; they are not tasting evidence.
The name also has an internal origin, according to Trilobe. Trente-Deux is the address of its Paris workshop and was the development code name for its first in-house collection. Château Trente-Deux dresses that collection in burgundy and links its Parisian watchmaking to French wine culture. The independent outlet Revolution describes the watch as a burgundy-dial variation of the sportier Trente-Deux collection. Both accounts are brand or trade descriptions; the sources do not independently verify the origin story.

The dial and the time display
A matte sunburst burgundy dial
The defining visual feature is the deep burgundy dial with a matte sunburst finish. The launch article compares the sunburst’s appearance to wine in a glass. Because the sources describe the finish only in these terms, a buyer should judge the colour and texture in person under different light rather than rely on product photography or launch copy.
Three rotating rings and fixed pointers
Trilobe’s launch article says the watch shows hours, minutes and seconds with three rotating rings read against fixed pointers, rather than with conventional hands. This is the most unusual functional feature of the model. The sources do not describe legibility in low light or how easily the rings read at a glance during daily use, so those are practical points to check before buying.

The launch article’s testing claim is worth reading in context. It states that “every X-Nihilo movement undergoes over 400 hours of testing before leaving our workshop.” That is a manufacturer statement, not an independent test result. The same article names the movement family “X-Nihilo” in that sentence and “X-Centric” in its specification block, and the sources do not explain how the two names relate.

The power reserve figures conflict
Trilobe’s launch material gives two different power reserves for the same watch. The narrative tasting copy says “the long finish allows for a 42-hour power reserve,” while the movement specification block lists 48 hours. Ahmed Seddiqi’s Geneva Watch Days 2026 coverage also reports 42 hours.

The sources do not establish whether the two figures refer to different variants or whether one is an error. Until the manufacturer resolves the difference, quote the reserve together with its source rather than as a single definitive number.

Price, the first 100 pieces and delivery
The three sources that discuss commercial terms do not agree, and each figure should be read with its date and origin.

The gap between €21,000 on the product page and €17,500 in WatchTime’s report is unresolved. The sources do not say whether it reflects timing, market differences or reporting. The product page’s own note that prices vary by delivery country is a reason to check the figure for your location rather than assume either number applies.
The wine pairing is limited to the first 100 pieces according to both the product page and WatchTime. The sources do not identify the grand cru, and they do not show that the initial batch is scarce in any measurable sense. The initial-100 wording describes the launch structure only and should not be read as a signal of resale value or investment performance; the sources make no such claim.
What the sources do and do not establish
The evidence supports a clear description of the watch: its reference, case, dial, time display, published movement specifications and launch terms. It does not establish independent testing, hands-on performance, long-term reliability, market demand or investment value. The wine-related statements are brand copy, and the testing claim is the manufacturer’s own.
Before you buy
- Check the current price for your delivery country on Trilobe’s product page, and note the date you checked it.
- Ask Trilobe which power reserve applies to the reference you are buying, given the 42-hour and 48-hour figures in its launch material.
- Confirm the warranty term in writing, because the 24-month figure comes from WatchTime and is not stated on the product page in the material consulted.
- Confirm whether your piece is among the first 100, since only those are described as engraved and accompanied by the grand cru.
- Confirm the delivery estimate at the time of purchase; the product page showed six months when it was consulted.
- Look at the burgundy sunburst dial and the ring display in person if you can, because the sources do not describe how either reads under everyday lighting.
Read as a watch rather than a wine, the Château Trente-Deux is a limited-launch burgundy-dial automatic with an unusual three-ring display. Its wine references are a story told around the design, and its most important specifications, the reserve and the price, need confirming with the manufacturer before you commit.
