A 2025 review of reference M4.1.4 additionally describes five-position adjustment, Incabloc shock protection and Swiss manufacturing origin. Those are details reported for that reference, not proof that every production version has identical configuration.
Will the case and bracelet fit your wrist?
The 6.9 mm thickness is the model’s most immediately useful distinction: Worn & Wound contrasted it with the original Manhattan’s 9.3 mm thickness. A thin case can sit neatly beneath a cuff, but the 39 mm diameter and 47.8 mm lug-to-lug remain important for wrist coverage. The integrated bracelet flows directly from the case, so it does not wear like a conventional watch with short, detachable lugs.

Fit impressions in reviews are individual rather than universal. Fratello’s reviewer found the dimensions comfortable, crediting the downward-angled lugs and integrated bracelet. Worn & Wound’s reviewer preferred the slightly larger original Manhattan on a 7.5-inch wrist and described the Ultra Thin as solidly built. Use those as context, not a substitute for trying this shape on your own wrist.

The Manhattan 39 Ultra Thin is a plausible first microbrand watch for someone who values a slim, distinctive integrated-bracelet design and is happy with manual winding and a two-hand display. Its dimensions and movement are clearly documented in watch coverage, but the best choice still turns on fit, bracelet adjustability and the exact terms attached to the version you can buy. It is less compelling if your priorities are an automatic movement, a seconds hand or a flexible strap setup.
