The MAEN Manhattan 40 launched in late 2024 with two striped Côtes de Genève dials—midnight blue and copper-salmon—and a limited jade stone-dial edition. The colors look different, but so do the dial materials and some configuration details. The original preorder has passed, and current MAEN listings show other availability and configuration information than the launch announcement.
What distinguishes the three dial options?
Midnight blue and copper-salmon
The regular launch models use Côtes de Genève, a striped dial finish. Fratello’s December 26, 2024 launch coverage described both colors and said the regular models were offered with or without a date. Confirm the reference and date configuration before buying; the exact variant matters.
Jade
The jade edition uses a green jade stone dial rather than the striped finish. It was described as a preorder-period special edition and was offered without a date in the launch coverage. Natural stone gives this option a different material and appearance, so it is not simply another color of the regular dial.
What are the Manhattan 40’s dimensions and specifications?
The published thickness figures depend on the source and configuration; they should not be treated as proof of a design revision.

MAEN describes the watch as “a modern re-interpretation of landmark timepieces from the 1970’s” on its Manhattan 40 jade product page. That is the brand’s description.
Which version should you choose?
- Choose blue or copper-salmon if you want the launch’s striped Côtes de Genève finish. Check whether the specific watch has a date and which movement grade it uses.
- Choose jade if you prefer a green stone dial and a no-date layout. Its listing specifies an SW200-1 automatic movement.
- Check the caseback and movement on the exact reference. Movement options are configuration-dependent: MAEN’s current M3.1.6 listing uses a La Joux-Perret G100, while its jade page lists an SW200-1.
- Consider wrist fit using both measurements: the 40 mm diameter and 49.3 mm lug-to-lug length. The latter is particularly useful when assessing how the integrated-bracelet case may span your wrist.
Are the original colors still available?
The original preorder dates have passed. Fratello reported that preorders would open December 27, 2024 at 13:00 CET, with deliveries projected for July 2025. The launch prices—€679.20 for regular Côtes de Genève models and €999.20 for jade—were preorder figures, with higher prices for top-grade movement options; they are historical, not current offers.

At the time of the official listings referenced here, MAEN’s M3.1.6 page showed €799.20 and “In stock – Direct shipping” for its listed configuration, with midnight blue and Marsh Green dial options. The jade page showed “Notify me.” These are page snapshots, not a guarantee of present stock or price. The listings do not establish whether the original copper-salmon Manhattan 40 is currently available.
If bracelet fit requires adjustment, MAEN also lists Manhattan 40 bracelet half-links; check compatibility and availability with the brand for your exact bracelet.
