Marathon sells two packages under the WW194006BK model family. The bracelet reference, WW194006BK-0109, is the configuration reviewed here. Its official product page lists an anthracite bracelet and a Marathon clasp option. An authorized Australian dealer describes its clasp as a butterfly clasp; because the descriptions differ, check the specific bracelet and clasp details with the seller before ordering. Marathon’s bracelet listing identifies the package and its specifications.
The separate WW194006BK-0130 package comes with a three-piece rubber strap kit and anthracite hardware; Marathon’s listing also shows a black 20 mm leather strap. The manufacturer describes this configuration as updated in 2026 with a black date wheel. It is not an accessory included with the bracelet reference. How large is the 41 mm Marathon GSAR?
Marathon lists the bracelet model at 41 mm in diameter, 14 mm thick, and 48 mm from lug to lug, with 20 mm between the lugs. The 48 mm span and 14 mm height are important alongside the headline diameter when estimating how the case may sit on your wrist. These are manufacturer dimensions, not a fit assessment for a particular wearer.
The 20 mm lug width allows consideration of other 20 mm straps, but width alone does not confirm a particular strap will fit well. Check its thickness, spring-bar compatibility, and hardware before buying. Marathon lists an anthracite three-piece rubber strap kit, nylon straps, and a Marathon x Bergeon spring-bar tool as extras on the bracelet page.

What movement is in the Anthracite GSAR, and how long is its power reserve?
Marathon specifies an Anthracite Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with an Incabloc shock absorber and 26 jewels. It lists the watch’s date function but does not give a reserve figure on its product page. Authorized Australian dealer Suvretta describes the Sellita-based Marathon M2 automatic as beating at 28,800 beats per hour (4 Hz), with a typical 38-hour power reserve, hacking seconds, manual winding, and rapid date adjustment. Those are dealer-stated movement details, not independent measurements of this watch’s accuracy or reserve. The dealer places the date at 4:30 and describes both 12-hour and 24-hour dial markers. What are the GSAR’s lighting and dive-watch specifications?
Marathon’s bracelet listing specifies tritium gas tubes and MaraGlo, a sapphire crystal, a screw-down crown, a unidirectional 60-minute bezel, and 30 ATM submersibility. The Australian dealer expresses the rating as 300 m / 1,000 ft and says the tritium tubes illuminate without needing to be charged by external light. A depth rating is a published specification, not a guarantee for every dive or operating condition; follow the manufacturer’s guidance for intended use.

The manufacturer’s origin account says the Anthracite GSAR was first issued in 2018 for stealth during tactical night missions. Marathon also says its broader Search and Rescue series was developed to Canadian Government requirements for professional SAR operations, introduced in the early 1990s, and used by members of Canadian and U.S. militaries. Those are company statements about the model and series, not independent confirmation of this specific watch’s deployment history.
